A great place to meet on a warm summer evening.

Relaxed communication in the open air, pleasant music, a glass of wonderful wine that has absorbed the warmth of the southern sun - what could be better? Crimea
, France and Italy are the largest wine-producing regions in the world.
The traditions of viticulture and winemaking in Crimea go back to ancient times.

Grapes were grown in Crimea and later, in the Middle Ages.

In the village of Novy Svet there is a well-known sparkling wine factory, founded by the patriarch of Russian winemaking, Prince L.S. Golitsyn.
Therefore, the name Gostiny Dvor is not accidental; it was in the New World that the prince began his experiments in producing the famous Crimean champagne, which today is known far beyond the borders of Ukraine.
“New World” produces more than 12 types of champagne brands: semi-dry, dry and, of course, the drink of aristocrats - brut, served at receptions of the highest level.

In 2003, the Novy Svet plant celebrated its 125th anniversary. By this date, the company had introduced a quality certification system according to the international standard.
In the near future, it is planned to release Coronation and Paradisio champagnes, revived according to ancient Golitsyn recipes.

Lev Sergeevich gave the wine the sonorous name “Paradisio”, of course, in honor of his beloved estate. This is the same wine that won the highest award in Paris in 1900.

Coronation champagne was made by Golitsyn specifically for the day of Emperor Nikolai Alexandrovich Romanov’s accession to the throne and was served only at ceremonial dinners on the occasion of this event.

Today, the New World champagne plant produces two million bottles a year. Unfortunately, there are many more of them sold. Modern swindlers have learned to counterfeit popular wines and cognacs in such a way that they can easily be confused by appearance, and disappointment only sets in when you try the drink.
The current selection of varieties for the production of champagne differs only slightly from Golitsyn’s. The places where grapes grow have also changed slightly.

Today, the Sevastopol and Bakhchisarai zones are priority areas for obtaining raw materials for champagne. As in the time of Golitsyn, the wine material is delivered along a mountain serpentine road to Green Bay, and then in deep cellars for three years a magical transformation takes place into a divine drink.
And in 1997, Paris again knelt before the New World champagne: Crimean champagne received a golden statuette from the International European Trade Club. Once the first president of the international association of grapes and wine, Baron Leroy said: “If winemakers ruled the world, then it would explosions were heard only from opening bottles of champagne.”

Hosting a conference is not an easy task. It is necessary not only to select a conference room that meets your requirements, but also to create an atmosphere that matches the spirit of the event, creating a menu for coffee breaks and lunches, installing and configuring equipment, etc.

On the adjacent territory of the Gostiny Dvor there is a park arranged according to all the rules of landscape design.

A holiday here is a holiday at the highest level. Walking along the paths of the park, you will be transported for a moment to the 19th century and touch places steeped in history. Here you will feel like noble nobles from the times of kings and court ladies.

From the balconies of the rooms there is a view of the bay called “Green”. On all sides, except for the south, the bay is closed by mountains, which contributed to the formation of a special wet climate in which coniferous plants of the Tertiary period were preserved.

The air is filled with the aromas of Sudak pine and juniper, which has a beneficial effect on human health and well-being.

Karaul-Oba - guardian of the New World.
Not far from the village of Novy Svet there is the Karaul-Oba (Watch Mountain) massif. This is a kingdom of wild stone chaos and juniper thickets interspersed with historical traces of the presence of ancient man. Having climbed to the top and looked around, you begin to understand why the mountain is called “guard”: from it you can see the entire coast from Sudak to Yalta.

Genoese fortress in Sudak
On a cliff of unimaginable steepness and height that falls towards the sea, there is a mighty fortress - a stone miracle with battlements and high towers. This is the Genoese fortress, an outstanding monument of world architecture. From the east and south it is inaccessible, from the west it is difficult to access.
On the accessible northern side it was surrounded by a moat with water, and in front of the gate there was a drawbridge.
The fortress housed residential buildings, weapons and food warehouses, and a temple. The reserve complex includes the Consular Castle, the Maiden Tower, the Temple on Consoles and other structures.

Blue Bay(another name is Robber's).
During the time of the Tauri and the ancient Greeks, according to legend, pirate ships hid here. This is a small bay with a small beach. It is also famous because of the through grotto (where pirates hid looted treasures).

Chaliapin's Grotto(other names: Estradny Grotto, Golitsyn Grotto).
The Golitsyn stone arches - storage facilities for champagne - are still preserved in the grotto. In addition, before the revolution, the grotto was used as a concert hall - there were tables and chairs.
They say that Chaliapin performed there, but in fact Chaliapin never in his life visited the New World (Paradise) and the purchased estate near the village.

Mount Falcon (Kush-Kaya)(477 m above sea level) rises above the New World.
In origin, this and neighboring mountains are ancient coral reefs that rose from the retreated sea.

The surroundings of the village of Novy Svet have the status of a botanical reserve, thanks to relict groves of tree-like juniper and Stankevich pine, endemic to these places, as well as picturesque bays with grottoes.

Episodes for many films were filmed in the vicinity of the New World, such as “Pirates of the 20th Century”, “Amphibian Man”, “Three Plus Two”, “Sportloto-82”, “The Silence of Dr. Ivens”, “Treasure Island”, “Anna Karenina” »

Factory of champagne wines “New World”, founded in 1878. Many brands of champagne, awarded with a number of prestigious awards, are produced here; excursions and tastings for tourists are regularly held. In front of the plant there is a monument to Prince Golitsyn.

The Novosvetsky amphitheater forms a semicircle of a mountain slope, along the edges of which the mountains rise. Sokol and Koba-Kaya. At the base of the amphitheater there is a beautiful Zelenaya Bay, with a beautiful fine sand beach.
On the shore of the bay - New World village. Majestic mountains with cozy bays, wild cliffs, mysterious grottoes and unique vegetation surround the village.
In ancient times this place was called Paradisio (paradise). The village attracts attention house of Prince Golitsyn L.S.- a light building in the style of a medieval castle, topped with four towers, built in the 19th century, as well as above-ground and underground structures of the winery, built by him in 1878.

If you come to the New World on vacation, then you should definitely take a walk along the Golitsyn Trail. On the western edge of Zelenaya Bay, at the foot of Koba-Kaya, the Golitsyn Trail begins. Carved into massive limestone on the slope of Koba-Kaya, the path winds at an altitude of 30-50 m above the sea depths and leads to a large grotto. There was a cave monastery here in the Middle Ages. In the middle of the grotto is a well with fresh water. Golitsyn kept bottles of wine in the cells of the walls of this grotto, and here, on the stone terrace, he treated guests to collection wines.
From the grotto the path goes along the shore of Blue Bay to Cape Kapchik. Here is the Skvoznoy grotto. This is a large internal cleft in a stone body of mass 77 m long. Through it you can go to the Blue Bay. The length of the trail is about 1.5 km, but a walk along it will take about 2 hours.

Sights of the village New World are closely associated with the name of Prince Lev Golitsyn, the founder of Crimean winemaking. The world-famous "New World" Champagne Wine Factory is located here, and Golitsyn's estate house remains - now it is the building of the Museum of the History of the Champagne Wine Factory. In the New World, tourists are offered a wonderful excursion route along the narrow Golitsyn trail along the Zelenaya, Sinyaya and Golubaya bays, through Cape Kapchik. Passing the juniper grove, they travel through the amazingly beautiful Crimean corner of the Karaul-Oba nature reserve. On the way, a stop at the Chaliapin Grotto, where the famous singer once sang, and Prince Golitsyn aged magnificent wines in special niches.

In the New World there are ruins of an 8th century cave monastery with crosses carved into the rock. There is a functioning church of St. Luke in the village.

Sights of the village of Novy Svet:

Chaliapin's Grotto. An amazing grotto with a long history is now called the Chaliapin Grotto. The name of the grotto is associated with the visit of the famous singer. He loved to visit his friend the count, and of course, he could not ignore the grotto along with its contents. They say that Chaliapin gave concerts in the grotto. A platform was equipped for concerts and there were tables for spectators. And a beautiful legend says that it was in this grotto that Chaliapin’s voice showed its power - reflecting off the walls, powerful sounds broke the glass of precious Novosvetov champagne in the singer’s hand.

Golitsyn trail. One of the main attractions of the New World. The trail starts on the southwestern shore of Green Bay and passes by amazing natural grottoes. Under the arches of the grotto, through the thickness of the sea water, a huge fallen block is visible - the “Turtle” stone, under which there is an underwater through tunnel. The cool shell of the grotto remains behind, and the trail leads tourists to the west, under the southern cliffs of Hoba-Kai. In this part of the Golitsyn Trail you can see the fossilized remains of corals, algae, sea urchins - inhabitants of the warm Jurassic ocean (they are about 150 million years old).

Cape Kapchik, is the most memorable element of the New World landscape. Behind him you can see the pointed peak of Mount Khoba-Kaya, separated from Kapchik by the Blue Bay. From the New World you can follow the trail to the rocky slope of Cape Kapchik. Cape Kapchik is intricately curved and juts out several hundred meters into the sea.

Karaul-Oba tract. Mount Karaul-Oba protects the bays and juniper groves of the New World from the west. Having climbed to its top and looked around, you will understand why the mountain is called that: from the top you can see the entire coast from Cape Meganom to Mount Ayu-Dag. Cape Karaul-Oba is named one of the seven geological wonders of the world.

Champagne wine factory"New World". The New World champagne wine factory was founded in 1878 by Prince L. S. Golitsyn, the founder of Russian industrial winemaking. Although sparkling wines similar to champagne were produced in Crimea long before Golitsyn, this was just an imitation of French wines. But he not only achieved quality (and stable quality), but also received international recognition at the highest level. Today, Novy Svetsky collection champagne is considered the best in Ukraine. It has repeatedly received the highest awards at international competitions and wine exhibitions. This wine is sold in 78 countries. In total, the Novy Svet plant produces 10 types of sparkling wines, both white and red.
