But I turned out to be confused and forgot my passport in the hotel room to rent the veil. So we decided that we could now spend more time at Ferrari World!

They decided to decide, but did not take into account that the park is huge and it is unrealistic to get around it in a few hours! So we didn’t walk around the entire park and didn’t see everything. Will have to come back again

Let me remind you that we have a rental car, so we did not use complex combinations of different buses. By the way, a trip by car from Sharjah (the hotel was located near the central post office) cost us about 1,500 rubles (about 45 dollars) for two (car rental + gasoline). Entrance to the park cost 136 dollars for two, and our company offered a tour for 110 per person (travel + entrance). Firstly, it’s more economical, and secondly - complete freedom of movement!

The very first obstacle at the entrance to "Ferrari World" began searching for parking. Having accidentally pulled into the parking lot of a nearby Ikea, Vasya found some Indian who happily went to accompany us to the park! He didn’t show anything on his fingers or on the map, he told us to follow him and jumped into a brand new Lexus of the latest model.

Parking Ferrari, as elsewhere in the cities of the emirates, this is a multi-level parking lot. There is a board above the traffic lane, which shows: red numbers - occupied seats, green - free and blue - seats for the disabled (and they are empty almost everywhere!) Very convenient when searching for free seats. Parking is free, and the exit is directly to the ticket office.

When you go to buy tickets, remember that they will only let you in once and it will be very difficult to run “to the car for a jacket.” Vasya succeeded, but with great difficulty. So it's better to take everything you need with you. The air conditioners do an amazing job of cooling, so I, bony, was freezing even in a jacket. Don't worry about your cameras and bags. Firstly, some attractions have special booths, and secondly, no one needs your things. There is no theft in the country, and the laws in the emirates are strict even for tourists, so few people will want to get involved with the local police because of your junk.

Russian-speaking workers should be looked for in Ferrari World at the central counter and at the ticket office, although there is no particular need for them - you buy a ticket, take a card and go. The cost of a regular ticket is 250 dirhams per person. For children above 1.3 m, an adult ticket is purchased, and below this height, a child ticket costs 205 dirhams. VIP costs Dh450 and is only needed on weekends when the queues are really impressive. There is a 10%-15% discount (depending on dates) for early booking on the website. The recommended clothing here is the same as everywhere else in the United Arab Emirates.

Ferrari World can be roughly divided into an amusement park and a museum. The most important thing is why we came to Ferrari World- attraction Formula Rossa. The fastest American race in the world reaches a speed of 240 km in 5 seconds and is wildly popular among tourists. Even on a Tuesday afternoon there is a line. While we were standing there, several people refused to sit in the chair.

There is a separate queue for seats in front and most often it is not small at all! I persuaded Vasya to sit on the second row of seats and was very happy about it later
You leave cameras, handbags and other small items in a personal booth, because at such speed you will not be able to take pictures or hold anything in your hands. All visitors are given special glasses to avoid getting insects or dust in their eyes at such speeds. The acceleration on a pneumatic roller coaster is such that you are pressed into the seat with incredible force. To make it not so scary, my height allowed me to slide a little and thereby hide behind the back of the seat in front. By the way, those whose height is less than 140 cm or more than 195 cm, unfortunately, are not allowed to enter the attraction. At the entrance to the hall there is a seat specially for this purpose, by which you can measure whether they will let you onto the slide or not. Photos of your emotions can be purchased at the exit of the attraction. We didn’t do this because it seemed sooooo expensive (100 dirhams).

They say that Formula Rossa pilots personally tested Ferrari and the loads you experience on the hill are the same as those experienced by pilots participating in races Formula 1. Most people, having ridden once, immediately run to the second round, but we didn’t have enough time for that. As for emotions... it’s quite difficult to describe them in words, but the phrase “what was that?!” I can't say. After a minute of feeling weightlessness, being pressed into the seat and bouncing, the body goes crazy, but the food doesn’t ask for it back, so you can repeat it

The next exhilarating ride Ferrari World- Fiorano GT Challenge. A roller coaster where two "trains" of cars race on two intertwining tracks Ferrari F430 Spider. The height restrictions for visitors are exactly the same as on Formula Rossa, here you also need to put your things in the booths and put on special glasses. Fiorano GT Challenge - ideal for those who are scared of the main attraction Ferrari World. We got here after Formula Rossa and the impression became a little blurry. After 240 km/h it seems that 95 km/h is a walk on a snail!

On the site Ferrari World in the "Thrill" section there is another adrenaline attraction - Scuderia Challenge - a simulator of a real Ferrari racing car in which you race along the virtual Yas Marina race track. In this thing, you steer, press on the gas and brake pedals, feeling all the vibration from the steering wheel, shocks from collisions with other cars or fences on the highway, as well as jerks when the automatic transmission shifts. You really shake and throw up when you flip over in your virtual car! The three-point seat belt will, of course, prevent you from flying out of the simulator. Height restrictions - minimum 130 cm

There are a lot of people who want to have fun on the simulator, because racers actually train on such a thing Formula 1! By the way, when you get behind the wheel of a simulator, you go to the track as some famous racer. Vasya, of course, arrived first (out of 5 cars) and was chasing who knows who (I once liked Formula 1, but this name was not so well known then). I shamefully came second to last, skating for Schumacher himself! There is an even more exotic version of the simulator - a real Formula 1 car or racing Ferrari. There is, of course, a separate additional fee and registration for a certain time.

Virtual tour of Ferrari - Made in Maranello- this is a modern “locomotive” in which you sit down and, accompanied by gorgeous music, go for a ride through different halls with the scenery of a real factory where iconic Ferrari cars are assembled. Filming and photography is allowed here; in general, there are no restrictions and it’s very interesting!

In addition there is: 4D adventure with the cartoon hero Ferrari - Speed of Magic, race next to the champion on a film simulator - Driving with the Champion, a quiz game with prizes Fast Line, an attraction like our "Waltz", only it's not the shells that spin, but the tires - Tire Twist, a kind of flight over virtual Italy - Viaggio in Italy. IN Cinema Maranello scheduled screenings of a historical film set during the 1920 Sicilian Cup, where Enzo Anselmo Ferrari, In the future, the founder of a world-famous car lights up with the dream of his whole life.

At the end of our walk around Ferrari World, we relaxed in a Ferrari 250 California (1985) through the most fabulous places in Italy - twenty times smaller copies of the Roman Colosseum, the Alps, Venice and, of course, Maranello! By the way, off to the attraction Bell"Italia you don’t have to go in and get into a car, you can walk along the paths between the food courts and see the same thing.

Ferrari replete with different cars from different years. They hang, spin, stand - they are everywhere! Ferrari Museum- this is a separate room where a few rare cars and ultra-modern cars are exhibited. Unfortunately, I skipped the museum, so I can’t tell you about it.

The food courts of the park seemed expensive to us, souvenirs were also very expensive and we didn’t bring anything from there. The fact that it is expensive here is nothing unusual! This is a Ferrari, not a Lada!

Out of the park Ferrari World We left just before closing, so we weren’t able to see a lot of what we wanted, but we decided that we’d come back here again

Svetlana Parfenova

If you are a fan of speed and thrills, then you should definitely visit Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. This place will remain in the memory for a long time, because it is the first theme park in the world dedicated to the legendary Italian brand Ferrari.

It is located on the artificial Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, which in itself is a reason to visit, plus this incredible complex covers an area of \u200b\u200b200,000 square meters, and such enormous dimensions put Ferrari World at the top of the world's podium among parks located indoors.

As you know, in the United Arab Emirates they like everything to be specially chic. Here are the tallest buildings in the world, the most expensive cars, the most grandiose fountains. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, as the world's largest indoor park, is not limited to the first place in terms of its size, it is also home to the fastest roller coaster, Formula Rossa, which has a maximum speed of 240 km/h and is reached in less than 5 seconds ( impressive, isn't it?). The length of the track is 2.2 km, and the shape of the attraction resembles the legendary Italian race track in the city of Monza.

By the way, the Ferrari logo crowning the roof of the building measures 65x48.5 meters and is the largest company logo ever created. The unusual design of the Ferrari World roof was developed by Benoy architects, who were inspired by the double curve of the side profile of the Ferrari GT. 12,370 tons of steel were used to support the roof, at the center of which is a 100-meter glass funnel. All other work on the construction, planning and design of the building's façade was carried out under the strict guidance of Ramboll. The construction of the building lasted two years, from November 2008 to November 2010. The grand official opening of Ferrari World took place on November 4, 2010 and since then the park has been accessible year-round.

The location of the theme park was chosen so that it is convenient for both residents and guests of the UAE to get here. It is located a 30-minute drive from the city of Abu Dhabi, and you can get to Ferrari World by bus number 109. And the journey from the international airport by car takes only 10 minutes. The park's opening hours are from 11:00 to 20:00, and the most popular days to visit are from Friday to Sunday, which is worth considering when planning your trip. Tickets to the park are divided into three categories and are best purchased in advance on the official website: http://www.ferrariworldabudhabi.com

Category 1 - bronze, provides unlimited access to attractions for the whole day. Price: adult ticket - 250 dirhams (about 5,000 rubles), children's ticket (those whose height does not exceed 1m 30 cm) - 205 dirhams (4,000 rubles). The price includes 5 dirhams for the purchase of souvenirs.
Category 2 - Silver, also provides access for the whole day, plus you can go through the fast track line to the attractions three times. Price: adult ticket - 350 dirhams (6900 rubles) and children's ticket - 305 dirhams (6000 rubles). The price includes the purchase of a souvenir for 10 dirhams.
Category 3 - gold. For 500 dirhams (9,800 rubles) you get unlimited access to all attractions, as well as an unlimited number of fast-track passes and accommodation in more comfortable seats. This ticket includes 15 dirhams towards the purchase of souvenirs.

For children under 3 years of age, entry to the park is free. While there may not be lines at the entrance, there likely will be lines for the rides. So if you're pressed for time, it may be worth paying more for a "fast track" pass. Each visitor receives a unique map, which shows the map of the park and a list of “attractions”.

We exaggerate when we write “attractions.” No, no, of course, here you will find American racing and spaceshot (“free fall”), which will lift you to a dizzying height of 62 meters from the ground, and then sharply “fly” down, but most of the park consists of exhibition stands depicting, for example, the Formula 1 paddock

or a gallery of parts and machines,

a virtual tour of the Ferrari Maranello plant, giving guests an insight into the design, assembly and testing of the Ferrari GT, a mini-cinema, etc.

There are also racing simulators, a children's soft play area with miniature radio-controlled Ferraris, a 4D cinema or a ride along an artificial water channel inside the engine of a Ferrari 599. There are a total of 20 so-called “attractions” throughout the park.

Scuderia Challenge is a racing simulator. You will be able to feel like a Formula 1 pilot, get into a racing car and take part in a race on the Yas Marina virtual circuit alone or with a group. Similar to the simulators used by Scuderia Ferrari drivers in training, this simulator completely immerses you in the race conditions.

Speed of Magic - 4D representation of the adventures of the boy racer Nello, with whom you can fly along the cliffs, find yourself in the heart of the jungle, take risks in ice caves and even at the bottom of the ocean. The experience of extreme temperatures, moisture, light and movement creates an experience similar to a fantasy adventure. Thus, you will be able to experience the “magic” of Ferrari and immerse yourself in an imaginary world with the whole family.

Driving with Champions is an interactive show that makes a Ferrari driver's dream test come true. Together with the driver, you will be able to experience step by step the path from GT racing to Formula 1. Navigate the high-speed corners of the Fiorano circuit and the streets around Maranello. It's not every day you get to ride with a racing legend.

Bell'Italia is an exhibition stand showcasing famous areas of Italy, buildings and racing venues. You can choose a Ferrari 250 California Spyder to drive around the attraction or stroll along the 570-meter track.

There are also presentation cars of various Ferrari models throughout the park.

In addition to the “attractions” themselves, there are shows in the Ferrari World park. Some will take you far into the past, to the 1920s, and show you the way to the dream of the creator of the brand, Enzo Ferrari himself, while others will allow you to plunge headlong into the world of Ferrari. Or, for example, a comedy show will show how funny the process of changing tires at a pit stop can be.

When you find yourself at Ferrari World for the first time, you will not be able to stop yourself from opening your mouth in amazement. Each car attracts you, literally saying to you, “Take a photo with me!”

But there is also a huge store with paraphernalia and souvenirs, where they can make personal souvenirs just for you and, of course, it takes time to get your bearings and figure out what sequence and where to go, so the main thing is not to forget to look at your watch. You definitely won’t be bored, and when you get hungry, you can stop by one of the several restaurants presented here, Italian, of course. The food, of course, differs from what is directly presented in Italy itself, but the general flavor is maintained. If you are faced with the choice of whether to go to Ferrari World, don’t even hesitate: you need to visit this park, and most importantly - fully, without haste.

Ferrari Park in Abu Dhabi is the main amusement park in the city! It is the world's largest indoor theme park and is home to the world's fastest roller coaster. Ferrari Park in Abu Dhabi offers many interesting attractions. The most popular of these is the Formula Rossa, but other attractions are also worth a look.
Ferrari Park in Abu Dhabi is an adventure world and a major theme park. Ferrari World is located on Yas Island in the UAE and has a total area of 25 hectares, of which 8 hectares are under roof. This adventure world is the largest in the world. There are 20 rides themed around fast driving.

Video about Ferrari Park in Abu Dhabi

Ferrari and Aldar Properties PJSC announced in 2005 the creation of a theme park in Abu Dhabi. Construction began in November 2008, and on April 4, 2010, the Ferrari Park in Abu Dhabi opened.
Ferrari World is the first major theme park built by an automobile brand. A smaller theme park still exists in Maranello, Ferrari's headquarters. Ferrari World was designed by English architecture firm Benoy, with engineering firm Ramboll leading the work. Ferrari Park offers visitors a full-fledged track, a go-kart track and other attractions. There is also an overview of current and historical Ferrari products. In addition, visitors can look forward to a theater and show complex, as well as special driving schools with racing programs.

A 62-meter free-fall attraction called G-Force stands in the center of the building. The attraction, created by Huss Rides, pushes the “passenger” with enormous force. Anyone who isn't afraid of free fall should take part in G-Force. From a height of 62 meters you get incredible views of Abu Dhabi.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi offers many fast-paced rides, such as the world's fastest roller coaster. The Formula Rossa accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and from 0 to 240 km/h in 4.9 seconds. Ferrari's simulated roller coaster cars offer a top speed of 240 km/h. In this roller coaster, passengers primarily feel the high acceleration forces for which Formula 1 is famous.
If you don't want to go that fast, you can try the slightly more comfortable Fiorano GT Challenge roller coaster. Many of the rides are aimed at young people and children because Ferrari expects them to be the buyers of the future. In the adventure world of Ferrari Park, of course, there are various restaurants and food stalls.

Formula 1

Next to Ferrari World is the Formula 1 track, where the first Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was held in 2009. The first race on the new track on Yas Island began on November 1st. If you want to drive on this Formula 1 track, you must first visit the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi driving school. At this driving school, guests can first try their driving skills in small F430 GT Spiders. Later they will be able to drive on a "trial" track and only after that they will be able to drive a miniature Ferrari car on a Formula 1 track.

Attractions at Ferrari Park

G Force offers the opportunity to fly through the roof of Ferrari World and get stunning views of Yas Island. People with a height of 1.4 to 1.95 meters are allowed to participate in this attraction.
V12- an attraction that will allow you to see the famous 12-cylinder Ferrari engine from the inside. You'll go through the pistons, past the cylinders and through the differential and out the exhaust pipe! Children over 1.1 meters tall are allowed. Children between 1.1 and 1.4 meters tall must be accompanied by an adult.
Fiorano GT Challenge offers a ride in a replica of the Ferrari F430 Spider.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi also offers virtual factory tours and a driving simulator that puts you on track. Of course, there is also a collection of Ferrari cars.
For parents with small children, strollers are available for rent. There is also an authentic Italian restaurant at Ferrari Park Abu Dhabi where you can enjoy fresh pasta or pizza. There are restaurants serving other world cuisines and a souvenir shop.

Ticket price to Ferrari Park and opening hours

Ferrari World is located on Yas Island, next to the Formula 1 track. The opening hours of this amusement park are daily from 11:00 to 20:00. The ticket price for adults is 234 dirhams, and for children - 195 dirhams. But these are minimum prices, so don't be surprised if tickets end up costing more.
Note that it makes sense to book tickets on the Ferrari World website, as there are two advantages. The first is that you won't have to queue for a ticket at the entrance, and sometimes the queue is quite long. The second advantage is that the prices when booking on the website are the lowest. At the same time, there is an opportunity to save additional money. For example, there is an online ticket for sale for Ferrari World at the standard Bronze rate or Park Pass (formerly called YAS Park Pass) with a discount on entry to Yas Waterworld and Ferrari World. The cheapest online ticket for Ferrari Park currently costs (as of November 2017) 234 AED for adults and 195 AED for children up to 1.3 meters tall. True, such prices imply some conditions: the ticket is purchased at the “bronze” rate, you fix the date of your visit in advance and book the ticket at least 15 days before the planned visit. The cheapest Park Pass for visiting the water park and Ferrari World costs 250 AED for adults and 212 AED for children. Thus, a ticket to both parks costs only marginally more than a ticket to Ferrari World alone. However, it's worth noting that the cheapest combination ticket offered here only gets you into both parks on the same day. Here too, it is important to choose a date and book a ticket at least 15 days in advance. If you want to buy a combined ticket for two parks, but visit them on different days, then you will need to pay a little more: 285 AED for adults and 242 AED for children. Interestingly, the terms and conditions state that dated tickets are valid 3 days before and 3 days after the selected date.
Of course, it would be nice to visit 2 parks in one day. And it’s not only about saving money, but also about the fact that you don’t have to spend two days visiting the parks. In addition, many tourists come to Ferrari Park and Yas Waterworld from Dubai, Sharjah and other UAE emirates. In this case, traveling to Abu Dhabi twice will be expensive and tiring. So often the option of two parks in one day is optimal. But on the one hand, you will have to carry your swimsuit with you to Ferrari World, and on the other hand, you will need to keep an eye on the clock at the water park where you would probably like to relax. The fact is that the water park opens earlier, and often tourists go here first and then go to Ferrari Park.

VIP tickets to Ferrari Park

Premium tickets are also always available. With these tickets you can skip the line to any attraction thanks to Fast Pass status. In addition, you will also receive a souvenir voucher. Tickets in this category are called "Silver" and "Gold" tickets. They differ in how often the Fast Pass can be used and the value of the souvenir voucher.
Based on my own experience, I can say that this additional expense is not worth it, since we hardly stood in line anywhere. It is possible that on some days there are really a lot of people here, but we were there on Saturday, which is a day off. But some tourists stated that they had to stand in queues even on a weekday. In general, draw your own conclusions.

Additional payments

It is important to know that not all Ferrari World attractions are included in the ticket price. Some attractions require you to pay an additional fee on site. It would probably be worth making a ticket that would include absolutely all the attractions. The cheapest amusement park ticket in Abu Dhabi is already relatively expensive, and you will still need to pay extra for some attractions. In addition, some “free” attractions sometimes do not work for unknown reasons. Limited entertainment also occurs on certain holidays.
We encourage you to make the most of your ticket. After the rides, let yourself be carried away by the funny 4D worlds or make your way through the artificial landscape of Italy and travel back in time. Take a look at the vintage and modern cars on display and enjoy the pleasant coolness and stunning architecture of Ferrari World.
In any case, Ferrari Park deserves at least one visit, because it is an iconic landmark not only in Abu Dhabi, but throughout the UAE.

Photos of Ferrari Park

I’m telling you as a traveler who read reviews on the Internet and got there himself in a rented car, which means I was going there to God knows where, without knowing English, with my wife and three-year-old child in my arms.

The navigator indicated the exact road to the park parking lot, which is free.

You need to devote the whole day to this miracle! I'm not a Formula 1 fan and didn't become one after visiting the park, but this is a real miracle! Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. We decided to go there, despite the fact that we had heard a lot of negative reviews in Dubai, saying that there was nothing to do there, and besides, children under 110 cm tall are practically not allowed anywhere. One man purposefully dissuaded me from visiting the park; when I asked what he didn’t like, he said EVERYTHING!))) And when asked if he had ridden a roller coaster or an F1 simulator, he answered NO! Because of them, I just wanted to go, the man surprised me, to visit a Ferrari and not take a ride there?!)))

1

The park is quite large. We arrived at 11 and left at 20 o'clock. There are Russian-speaking staff at the ticket office and in the park who will explain everything in detail, as soon as you tell them that you need a “Russian cashier”. There are two types of tickets, skip the line costing 440 dirhams (1 dirham 9 rubles) and general admission 240 dirhams. But on some attractions, even with a premium ticket you can get into a queue of the same ones, but there are not so many of them.

A map of the park is given out at the checkout, ask where children are allowed, where there are the most queues and all the questions that interest you. Children under 3 years old are free. Bags are checked at the entrance; food is not allowed. The child was in a stroller and was allowed in without any problems.

We first went to the F1 simulator, since there you need to register in advance (D) (hereinafter, in parentheses, I will indicate the number and letters indicated on the map).

Steering wheel in the F1 simulator.

Viz driving a simulator.

There is an original F1 car and, roughly speaking, a simple Ferrari car, the cost is 100 dirhams, the rest of the attractions have free entry and an unlimited number of rides on one at least 100 times, you just have to wait in line for a new one. At 11:30 the queue was at 14:00, we paid 200 dirhams for two and moved on. One thing was not taken into account, since no one warned and it is not written anywhere that if you are shorter than ~165 cm, then you will not be able to reach the pedals in the simulator))) My wife got into trouble, with a height of 160 cm she had to stick her head out from under steering wheel, then dive down to press the pedals, thereby not seeing the screen. If you are shorter than 165 cm, go not to F1, but to a simple car that is on the right.

It’s an interesting feeling: you race for 10 minutes, after which even your abs hurt from the shaking. My wife didn’t like it for the reasons stated above.

Around the paid simulator there are small, free analogues, for which there is also a queue and you need to sign up in advance. We took the coupons, but in the end we didn’t get to them.

There are a lot of different bells and whistles in the park: spinning cars, car bodies on the walls, a bunch of real Ferraris, various models showing the aerodynamics of the car, etc.

Then we just look around where to go and figure out on the map what is where. Impressions so far so-so. The time has come to leave my wife and child and go experience everything alone. I take the queue for the attraction (O). After standing for 20 minutes, the crowd went into a booth where they showed some kind of hat on TV, I think they arrived))) We are asked to go further, sit down and buckle up......and then it started) This is super))) I won’t describe the whole process, so that you yourself would like to visit there. My wife liked it too.

I get in line for the Ross formula (A), wait about 30 minutes, and here comes the long-awaited moment. The start and you are pressed into the seat, from which you cannot lift your head. Excellent impression, not so much for my wife.

The longest queue that I stood in was the cinema hall (T) ... about 40 minutes or so. On the map you can see three pillars in three rows, so these are the chairs in which they lift you up to the screen and you take part in the races! Great, we liked it. Half an hour later I passed by and there was not a single person in line.

On (Q and K) you ride in special trailers and look at the history of the creation of the car, etc. Let's say it's normal.

We didn’t ride on (G) because they just roll you around in round “wheels”, we didn’t waste time. The child was not allowed to go to (H,B,I).

Want to change a real wheel on an F1 car?

Then this attraction is for you (N). They give you a pneumatic wrench, with which you must unscrew the nut on the wheel, remove the old wheel and put the new one in and tighten it. First they show you how to do it, then you change it for a while! In front of me there was a girl who easily changed the tire, I think STRONGER!, but as it turned out later it was very easy.
