Moscow is a metropolis offering many options for family leisure. There are places to go here with very young children, older kids, and teenagers who are not easy to please. This article will talk about establishments, events, entertainment for children from three to seven years old. But how do you choose where to go with your child this weekend?

Various options where you can go with children in Moscow

The question of where to go with a small child in Moscow involves a lot of answers. Based on the interests of the baby, physical and mental needs, characteristics of a particular stage of development:

  • For fidgety kids aged five to seven, outdoor activities, trampoline centers and labyrinths are suitable. Active children like rope parks, both outdoor and indoors, laser tag, and attractions that allow them to fully release their seething energy.
  • Thoughtful guys, loving calm events we recommend visiting the recently fashionable children's sand shows, science museums, including the Planetarium. Among the open areas, you will enjoy excursions through the green areas of Moscow, as well as meeting with city attractions.
  • We advise young adventurers to go on quests, organized by the capital's children's centers, as well as to museums and popular entertainment venues, which are represented in huge numbers in Moscow. By the way, this is a good option for holding fun family holidays - birthdays, for example.
  • If your child loves the animal world, is delighted with the Animal Planet programs, go with your growing youngster to zoo, dolphinarium, oceanarium. Both adults and the baby will receive the most positive impressions, and time will fly by. If you want to touch animals, hold them in your arms, and treat them to a tasty treat, the ideal option is to go to petting zoos, of which there are plenty in Moscow.
  • I want spectacles performances, immersion in the world of performing arts? Capital doors theaters, where interesting children's performances are constantly organized, including interactive ones, open every day. Numerous movie theaters offer fun, educational screenings for the whole family. And if you want new sensations, visit extended virtual reality room (4D, 5D), or watch a full-dome movie in the Planetarium that reveals the secrets of the universe. True, it is suitable for children aged five years and older; little ones may get bored.

The capital offers an endless variety of options for where you can go with a small child. You could choose new places every weekend and still not see everything. Let's start:

Where to go with your child in Moscow in the fresh air. We have fun, relax, develop in open areas.

The child needs help organizing his leisure time not only during walks, but also at home. Absolute hit of 2018- set for creativity “Paint with light”- have been flying off the shelves of all children's stores for several months now. And no wonder! After all, this simple and cheap toy helps develop a child’s creative abilities and introduces him to the laws of physics in a playful way.

If you want to take a walk, not just for health benefits, but also to gain new knowledge, look at the architecture of Moscow, get acquainted with the famous sights of the hero city, you will have dozens of ideas.

Free options for walking a child 3-7 years old in Moscow

Many children are interested in the historical places of the capital, large estates where royalty, representatives of the noble or merchant classes used to live, historical open-air museums - in a word, everything that Russia is rightfully proud of.

History of the capital: streets, alleys and nooks and crannies: the center of Moscow

When deciding where to go with a five- to seven-year-old child in Moscow (and also with a baby, but then it’s better to take a stroller), do not leave the center of the capital without attention:

Red Square. Children are fascinated by the view of the Kremlin, the wide pavement lining Vasilievsky Spusk, the ensemble of the red brick wall, St. Basil's Cathedral and GUM. By the way, if it suddenly gets cold, you can look into the main supermarket of the country: firstly, there are many cafes there, and secondly, the glass dome and various installations will delight the inquisitive little one.

Okhotny Ryad. The place is especially interesting with a cascade of fabulous fountains that embody familiar stories. There is a fox with a crane, and Ivan Tsarevich with a frog, and a duck with a brood of hasty ducklings. Little fast food lovers will love McDonald's, located right in the Okhotny Ryad building, but we don't recommend going there: there are very long lines.

Alexander Garden. Located near the Kremlin, on the side of the Eternal Flame. The entrance is decorated with elegant wrought iron gates. The length of the garden is sufficient to take a walk without feeling the frantic rhythm of life in the metropolis: from Red Square to the exit to the Kremlin embankment. This place is especially beautiful in summer, when luxurious flower beds bloom wildly everywhere, and in winter you will find the charm of a snowy fairy tale. Works around the clock.

Arbat. One of the most famous streets of Old Moscow. They are constantly selling something, showing something, offering something, organizing something. Life is in full swing, and you can often unexpectedly find yourself at an ethnic music concert, a dance performance, or even a magician's performance. Moreover, all this is completely free, especially for grateful spectators-passers-by, right in the middle of the famous street.

Sergei Sadov, who plays on Arbat almost at any time of the year

There are many more interesting places both in the capital’s center and a little further away. For lovers of active street walks in large parks, we recommend visiting Sokolniki, Gorky Park, VDNKh, Vorobyovy Gory. Such a family vacation will not hurt your pocket at all, but will bring a lot of bright impressions.

Important tip! Still, take a certain amount of money with you. A number of the listed places (Arbat, VDNKh, Sokolniki, Vorobyovy) offer souvenirs, handmade goods, books and other interesting items that you may want to purchase.

Estates: impressive palaces and picturesque parks.

Moscow is an ancient city in which numerous noble families flourished, the heirs to the throne grew up and were educated, and noble merchants and traders lived. It is not surprising that many estates have been preserved, and wandering through the open spaces is a real pleasure for the whole family. In summer you can have a picnic on the lawns of the estates, and in winter you can go downhill. Tours are offered to many of the palaces and churches of these residences.

Kuskovo

The former residence of the Sheremetyevs, which still amazes with its aristocratic grandeur and scope. The exteriors, alleys, and architectural structures here return to the unique spirit of past centuries. You can see costumed ladies and gentlemen, and ride a horse cart. The large, almost perfectly rectangular pond has a special charm.

Kuskovo is an ideal option for taking your child for a walk in the fresh air in the east of Moscow

You can learn more about the estate, see the work schedule and current exhibitions on the official website: http://kuskovo.ru

Tsaritsyno

Here you will get a full-fledged, educational walk with a child of three to seven years old, giving new emotions, impressions, and discoveries. You can simply walk around the huge park, looking at the unique architecture, or visit the central museum, as well as various exhibitions.

All necessary information is on the website http://tsaritsyno-museum.ru

Kolomenskoye

The Tsar's estate, which has now become one of the most famous historical, architectural, natural, and landscape Russian reserves. It is famous for various master classes, performances by theater troupes, and Russian entertainment for both children and adults. Just look at the knightly tournaments that groups of enthusiastic reenactors hold in this park every spring!

Important! Entrance to all estates is free only for walking around the surrounding area. In most cases, visiting exhibitions, museums, and children's master classes is paid. The prices for events vary; more detailed, up-to-date information is presented on the official websites of the establishments.

Where you can go with children three to seven years old for a fee: excursions and tours

You can go to A weekend tour organized around a specific theme. For example, take a five to seven year old child to Gzhel. At this age, folk crafts are already being studied in kindergartens and schools, and the child will be interested in seeing the “blue of Russia” with his own eyes. Excursions are offered for all ages and vary in duration; more details can be found on the website https://vs-travel.ru in the sections “One-day bus tours”, “Walking tours around Moscow”.

Entertainment under the roof

The baby, like the parents, does not always want to walk down the street, and often the weather is not conducive to long walks. The capital offers a variety of options for a fun children's holiday in warm rooms.

Where to go with a child of three to seven years old on the weekend: circuses, theaters, questrooms

Little children love spectacular shows, colorful performances, and funny performances. When choosing entertainment for children under five years old, keep in mind: the plot should be understandable, or even better, familiar. Watching a completely new story, not every child understands the essence of what is happening, so he quickly gets tired of the show.
For older preschoolers (six to seven years old), more complex stories are quite suitable.

There are many children's theaters in Moscow that you can go to with children of different ages, for example:

Puppet

  • Obraztsov Puppet Theater
  • Moscow Children's Puppet Theater
  • Magic lamp
  • Shadow (shadow theater)
  • Firebird

Aladdin. Obraztsov Puppet Theater

Dramatic

  • Children's Theater "A-Z"
  • Theater on Serpukhovka under the direction of Teresa Durova

How the monkey outwitted the sea king. Children's Theater "A-Z"

Musical

  • Theater named after Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko
  • "Moscow Operetta"

Musical "School of Forest Magic". Moscow Operetta

There are a huge number of theater groups in the metropolis that stage performances for children (including those involving the direct participation of young spectators). Each one hosts family programs, performances, and shows.

The website http://kids.teatr-live.ru will help you find out the posters and get acquainted with the current news of children's theaters.

Take your little child to the Circus!

Circus performances, as well as shows in which animals take part, fascinate children and force even the most naughty fidgets to sit with their mouths open. Circus named after Nikulin For many years now she has been giving young viewers the brightest, most sincere emotions.

You can find out about the schedule of performances on the institution’s website: http://www.circusnikulin.ru

A toddler aged four to seven years old will definitely enjoy the program Circus on Vernadsky Avenue. This most famous cultural institution in Russia constantly delights viewers with new programs, both its own and from touring groups.

Encounters with the beautiful natural world

In addition to the options listed, when deciding where to go with a small child in Moscow, pay attention to Moscow Zoo, Dolphinarium, oceanariums. The latter will surprise you with huge aquariums in which fish swim even above the heads of visitors. Particularly interesting in this regard "Moskvarium" at VDNKh. You can even touch some of the sea inhabitants there! This entertainment will appeal to both three-year-old children and seven-year-old schoolchildren. Also not bad There is an aquarium in the center of Rio in the north of the capital.

In the Moskvarium at VDNKh there is a huge aquarium with killer whales

And for those who like not only to look at animals, but also to learn about their habits, this will be a godsend. Museum named after Darwin. Suitable for children aged five years and older; younger ones may get tired quickly. The museum is huge!

There are also petting zoos– establishments where small (most often domestic) animals can be fed, petted, and held. Such communication has a creative component, brings the child closer to nature, develops a feeling of love, tenderness, and care. Important! When going to a petting zoo with a child of three or four years old, carefully monitor your son or daughter so that they do not offend the animals.

Active children's recreation: water parks, laser tag, rope parks

For little adventure lovers, not only the doors of the capital's questrooms are open, but also numerous children's amusement parks, laser tags, rope parks and water parks. There are many options for visits, varying in pricing and entertainment offered. Here are some addresses and sites:

  1. Water parks.
    • "Caribbean": https://karibiya.ru. The establishment is famous not only for its cool slides and interesting pool for children of three years old, but also for its frequent profitable promotions.
    • You can also go with your children to "Kva-kva park":

Instructions

Choose the focus of the event - will it be entertaining or educational? By choosing the first, you will be easily involved in the world of all kinds of children's entertainment, which in Moscow can be found literally at every step: children's playgrounds in shopping centers, skating rinks and roller rinks, amusement parks - All-Russian Exhibition Center, Izmailovsky Park, 850th Anniversary of Moscow Park ", "Luna Park Carousel" and "Chudograd" at the metro station "Park Kultury", "Luna Park Carousel" at the metro station. "Victory Park", "Sokolniki" Park, "Kuzminki" Park, "Babushkinsky" Park, as well as numerous regional children's parks. Here your child will be able to enjoy the rides, jump on the trampoline and eat cotton candy.

When choosing a more difficult level, you can give your preference to aquariums, zoos, museums of vintage cars and toys. In addition to the well-known zoo in the center of Moscow, there is also the petting zoo “We Lived at Grandma’s,” which is located on the territory of the All-Russian Exhibition Center, right behind the “Friendship of Peoples of the USSR” fountain. Here your child will be able to come into contact with wildlife, pet and feed the animals themselves. A visit to the zoo includes a guide who will tell your child about the life of animals and their habits.

The Museum of Retro Cars on Rogozhsky Val opens its doors to young technology lovers. Your child will be able to trace the evolution of the development of the car and, perhaps, after visiting the museum he will develop a new hobby. There is also the Lomakovsky Museum of Antique Cars and Motorcycles, which is located in Lyublino. The “Artistic and Pedagogical Museum of Toys” will be of interest to both girls and women. Here you will see exhibits that began to be collected at the beginning of the 20th century. The girls will be happy to visit the “Museum of Unique Dolls” on Pokrovka. These museums provide children with the opportunity to plunge into history, but only from their own, children's world.

Many Moscow theaters stage performances for children. Chamber, musical, puppet, interactive, they offer a wide range of children's activities. In many of them, children become direct participants, which helps to revive their imagination and is a guarantee that they will certainly not get bored.

Even today, there are still municipal institutions that are ready to teach your child the arts or provide sports activities. In Moscow, such services are provided by MGDD (Moscow City Palaces of Children's (Youth) Creativity), for example, on Kosygina Street, 17.

And, of course, no one has canceled such benefits as visiting numerous Moscow parks and reserves that have playgrounds. You can organize your outdoor party by inviting his friends and their parents. Decorate the playground, take the ball and badminton in the summer; prepare a thermos with hot tea and sandwiches in winter and go sledding - everything is limited only by your imagination!

And remember, it’s not for nothing that the proverb says: “To give a child a good upbringing, spend half as much money on him and give him twice as much attention.”

note

You should register for some free events in advance - if you already know in the middle of the week that you will be going somewhere on the weekend, do not forget to call the organization you are planning to visit and clarify the conditions for visiting.

Helpful advice

Consider the child's interests. Listen to his creative ideas. Do not scold or reproach your child if he does not succeed in everything at any master class. Otherwise, you may discourage your baby from doing this or that forever.

If your baby has grown up and is no longer interested in walking exclusively on the playground in the courtyard of the house, you can take him for a walk in another place. To make it more fun for you, you can invite your friends with mothers with children.

Instructions

You will have a great time in the park, especially if it is well equipped: there are playgrounds with swings and horizontal bars, fountains, gazebos, and benches. Usually there are a lot of parents and children walking in such parks, so your child will have the opportunity to socialize with peers.

Children will love hanging out at the zoo. Even if they have already been there, they will still be pleased to see their favorite animals once again. Another option to interact with animals is to ride a pony. It is not only simple and interesting, but also very useful.

The Botanical Garden is a great place for a relaxing walk among flowers and rare plant species. Children also enjoy spending time near ponds, feeding birds and watching them.

If your city has an arboretum, be sure to take a walk there with your children. The arboretum has clean air, where you can ride a bike, play outdoor games, and organize mini-competitions. You can take a blanket and some food with you and have a snack right in the park, having a fun little picnic.

Of course, any child will enjoy a walk in an amusement park, where you can ride on various swings and carousels, jump on trampolines, and ride a horse. Sometimes such entertainment can be expensive, so you should not arrange it too often so that the child does not get used to ready-made entertainment, but can play outside on his own.

If your child has already reached the age of 5-6 years, take him go-karting. This is not only outdoor fun, but also exercises for developing the first skill of driving a vehicle. I especially like go-karts. Children will also enjoy walks in places where they can roller skate or ride a bicycle.

  • where to go for a walk with a child

In the warm season and when the weather is favorable for walking, Muscovites usually go out of town, where they can have a picnic, barbecue, breathe fresh air and walk barefoot on the grass. This type of weekend recreation is especially recommended for families with children, for whom the Moscow ecology, of course, has already become familiar, but will never be useful.

Instructions

Outdoor recreation

If a long trip to the region is tiring for you or you don’t have your own car, head to the capital’s numerous parks, estates and small forest plantations. Most Moscow parks have been seriously updated recently. For example, Gorky Park, which was radically changed according to the restructuring plan of the Moscow authorities, as well as the estates of Kuzminki, Tsaritsyno, Kolomenskoye and others.

Go on rides, have a picnic in the open air, ride bicycles or roller skates, which can increasingly be rented at a fairly reasonable price. Bring a soccer ball or tennis rackets - children will enjoy active pastime and time to spend with their parents.

Water parks

Few Moscow residents now dare to swim in the capital's reservoirs, increasingly preferring outside the city or even 100-150 kilometers from the city towards the Greater Volga. For such people and their children, visiting a water park can be an excellent way out of the situation. Currently, there are several such water centers operating at once - “Moreon” in Yasenevo, “Karibia” in Perovo, “Yuna Life” in Altufyevo, “Fantasy” in Maryino, “Kva-Kva Park” in Mytishchi and other water parks.

Cinema and performances

The film industry in Russia is increasingly producing its own and showing foreign cartoons, which will be interesting for both children and adults to watch. The whole family will enjoy these films: you will relax, they will be busy watching, and you will also have a good laugh.

Children's performances are held weekly in the capital's Moscow Art Theater. A.P. Chekhov (the famous production of “The Little Humpbacked Horse”), the Moscow International House of Music (“The Adventures of Oliver Twist”), the Moscow Puppet Theater (“The Doodle Game”), in which famous and famous actors play. These performances can easily capture the attention of young viewers.

Zoos and aquarium

Getting to know the animal world can be interesting for almost all children. For example, at VDNKh there is a small but already quite famous zoo “We Lived at Babusya’s”, where you will not find elephants or giraffes, but you can see the living conditions of animals familiar to Russian life. But you don’t have to be original, but go to the usual zoo on Barrikadnaya, where you can spend 3-4 hours of your weekend time interestingly with your children.

And finally, the most popular new development in Moscow over the past year is the oceanarium on Dmitrovskoye Shosse. Exotic fish, stingrays, sharks and other marine animals in as close to natural habitat conditions as possible. But the aquarium has one big drawback - tickets for it are quite expensive, and the queues do not get shorter even a year after its opening.

At two years old, children understand almost everything adults tell them. Therefore, parents who want to give their child everything necessary for development begin to take him to all the events he can get to. And although the baby is, in principle, ready to receive large amounts of information, not all active activities are suitable for him, because something may simply not interest him, and he does not have enough patience for long outings.

Walks in the park

To prevent a walk in the park from turning into a nightmare for your baby, you need to take with you

I would like to tell you about our wonderful holiday in Turkey in Marmaris.
Let me start with the fact that this was our first “big” trip with a child (3.5 years old) plus our first foreign trip, so the “stakes” for the vacation were high)). There were a lot of options; in the selection process, Tunisia, Cyprus, and Bulgaria were excluded for various reasons. For some reason, I initially had a negative attitude towards Turkey, but I completely changed my mind on the first day of my vacation. Marmaris is an amazing city! Palm trees, mountains, sea, and yachts, yachts, yachts... We lived at the Grand Pasa 5* hotel in the town of Cityler, 3 km away. from the city of Marmaris. For ourselves, we only noted the advantages of such a “removal” from the immediate city center. Firstly, the sea is cleaner, because... a port is a port, albeit of unreal beauty. Secondly, the proximity of Icmeler beach, where the sea is even cleaner, the water is clearest, the pebbles are smaller, the nature is the most beautiful!

Getting to the center of Marmaris was not difficult: a lot of minibuses and taxis, a 5-minute drive. At night we walked back along the embankment - 40 minutes, not in order to save money, we simply could not exchange the night freshness of the sea for anything. The child was sleeping peacefully in the stroller :) The resort itself is very youthful and party-oriented, “Bar Street” alone is worth it!) Bar Street is a narrow street, along which on both sides there are only bars, clubs, discos, cocktails, music, light shows ... However, although we are young, we are still parents :) we spent more time walking around the city and the port. There are more people in the center at night than during the day - that’s a fact), including wheelchair users like us). As for the cultural program, we attended several excursions, and in all cases we were 100% satisfied!

First we went on an excursion to Turtle Island - Dalyan. First, about 30-40 minutes up the mountain by bus accompanied by an interesting story from the guide, then boarding a boat, and then it all begins: a beautiful lake, sailing along which you feel peace spreading throughout your whole body, the Dalyan River and the city of Dalyan - again covers some... that strange feeling of a lost world, you begin to think about the meaning of life and all that, the ancient tombs in the rock amaze your consciousness, and finally - the final destination of the mini-trip - a sandy turtle island washed by the Mediterranean Sea. It was very interesting and unusual to compare two seas, two beaches in one day. According to the excursion program, we were given time to thoroughly enjoy the soft sandy beach and the Mediterranean Sea. The way back was not at all stressful, it was no less interesting to admire all the listed beauties a second time, the child comfortably settled down on the back platform of the boat, in huge pillows specially thrown for tourists. We returned to the hotel tired and happy.

The second excursion is a walk around the Aegean Islands. It all started according to the same scenario: bus, mountains, guide, lake (now different). When we sailed out into the Aegean Sea itself, we were simply amazed! It looks as if ink had been spilled into it - blue, extremely beautiful, and at the same time completely transparent - while swimming in the open sea, we saw every blade of grass and grain of sand at the bottom.
In general, delight, delight, delight!

Unfortunately, we did not visit Pamukkale, Ephesus and other major excursions, because... It is impossible to embrace the immensity in 14 days, and choosing between admiring nature and cultural heritage, we, as suffocating residents of a metropolis, were more inclined to nature. Of course, it would be nice to visit Pamukkale, but it’s still far away, about 6 hours one way, with a child, by bus... Although, all the guides, both local and Russian, shout with one voice: “If you haven’t been to Pamukkale , you have not been to Turkey." However, we did not feel inferior about this, promising ourselves that we would definitely return when the child was older.

We went on excursions from local travel agencies and did not see any difference in quality compared to those imposed by Koralovsky. They carried the same ships, fed them the same pasta and cutlets, the program was the same. Only 3 times cheaper.
Regarding shopping, I can say that it’s definitely not in Marmaris. Of course there are shops, and there are a lot of them.

We were also pleased with the hotel. 7-10 minutes walk to the sea. The food was plentiful and tasty, although there were dissatisfied Russians who shouted at the whole hall, “Where the f*** is it, mashed potatoes?!” At that moment it became embarrassing. But there really wasn’t any puree).
Lots of foreigners. The animation...hmm, is aimed mainly at older children, about 10 years old, and adults, for such kids there was only a mini-disco at 21.00. But we, even though we are parents, are still young :) we spent little time at the hotel, not wasting a minute, grasping at every idea, walked a lot, admired, became interested...
The rooms are good, for every taste in terms of noise). It was more or less “quiet” in ours, because... the windows faced the street, and not the pool with animation at 13.00-16.00 (parents of three-year-olds will understand me).

My daughter was happy with everything, especially with the pool :) Even despite the absence of the famous “Turkish children's animation”. Apparently, for this same children's animation, you need to go to other resorts in Turkey, such as Kemer, for example. But Marmaris is different. He is youthful. He is cheerful and noisy. He is beautiful. He's inspiring. He's romantic.
We flew from Coral - there was nothing to complain about regarding the organization. Everything is clear and according to plan).
The locals are kind, helpful and love children!

The beach was a bit disappointing. It was not very good at our hotel. The sunbeds are crammed to the limit, because... 4-5 hotels claimed a small strip of coastline, other hotels’ beaches were somehow decorated with palm trees, white umbrellas, etc., but ours was completely simple. But this small minus was fully compensated by Turkish hospitality. We didn't bother about it :).

Regarding the cost, I can say that the three of us ended up with 100 thousand rubles. for two weeks all inclusive. The trip took 3 weeks to get, but it probably could have been cheaper if it had been done in advance.
Little things we noted:
1) the Turks have unique knowledge - they know how to cool the water so that it is really very cold, but does not hurt your throat (somehow this is new for us :). To illustrate, our daughter, raised by her grandparents in greenhouse conditions, drank this “icy” water throughout her vacation;
2) they drive cars and mopeds like devils, taxis, constantly maneuvering, rush around in such a way that you are simply nailed to the back of the seat;
3) cars DO NOT give way, even if there is a pregnant woman with five strollers;
4) between Siteler and Icmeler there is a mysterious park in the mountains “Marmaris National Park”, according to the description on the Internet it is simply stunning. Local residents make bewildered faces when you ask them about it; even minibus drivers who drive past the sign every day “don’t understand what we’re talking about.” A representative of a local travel agency (a native of Russia) secretly advised us not to go there, especially in the evening. In general, this place, closed from tourists, attracts even more. If any of the readers managed to unravel the mystery of Marmaris National Park, please tell us :)

As you can see, we brought a lot of emotions that are still alive and inspiring six months later! My daughter often remembers her favorite swimming pool, and constantly asks when we will go to Turkey again. For me this is the best indicator.

"Where should I go to the seaside with my child?" - every parent asks this question on the eve of the holiday season, deciding to go to the sea with their children... When choosing the best country for a trip to the sea with a child, it is necessary to take into account many factors. Among them: flight duration, climate, quality of beaches, cleanliness of the sea, infrastructure for children, food, level of medical care and much more... When creating this ranking of the TOP 10 countries, we tried to take into account all these factors, and also noted the countries on the map.

It is not so important whether you go to the sea with one child or with several children, on a tourist package or on your own, for a couple of weeks or the whole summer... It is important that the flight, accommodation and holiday at sea for the child are comfortable, safe and favorable for baby's health! And for this, the most important thing is to choose the right country to travel...

It is very important that the flight is as short as possible and preferably direct, that there is a mild climate, preferably no or minimal time zone shifts, that there is good nature, a clean sea and a beach with comfortable entry into the water. It is also very important to pay attention to developed infrastructure and public transport, the availability of entertainment and amenities for children, food suitable for children, and high-quality and affordable medical care. And don’t forget to take out travel insurance for yourself and your child abroad! Apply for a policy travel insurance online can be done in just 5 minutes, it costs from 0.50 euros per day, but it can save the life and preserve the health of your child, providing medical care and treatment worth 50,000 euros!

9 Thailand

Thailand, contrary to popular belief, is suitable for relaxation not only for adults, but also for children. Not Bangkok, of course, and hardly Pattaya... But on most of the islands of Thailand, excellent beaches, warm clean seas and low prices await you and your child. We recommend Krabi, Ao Nang, Phuket, Koh Chang, Samet, Phangan and other islands... But Samui is best for families with children! On Koh Samui, the rainy season is minimal, and moreover, direct charter flights have recently begun flying to Koh Samui from Russia.

In Thailand it has been very good and popular lately to spend the winter, and children can completely replace winter with 2-3 months of summer... Our winter in Thailand coincides with the hot beach season without rain (from November to March). However, during short trips, such a sudden change in climate is not always beneficial for the baby. Therefore, the best time to travel with a child to almost all resorts in Thailand: March and April. Exception: Koh Samui! You can go to Koh Samui from April to September! At this time, the average air temperature day/night: +31/+23, water temperature: +28, and precipitation is minimal. From May to October is the so-called rainy season on most islands. And on Samui the rainy season is only in October and November.

Nuances. When traveling with a child to Thailand, take into account the length of the journey and the distance of the islands from the main Bangkok airport, as well as differences in the rainy seasons of different regions of Thailand.

How to get there. A direct flight to Thailand lasts about 10 hours.

The best time to travel with a child to the Maldives: March and April. During this season, the average air temperature day/night: +31/+26, water: +29, and precipitation is minimal. From May to November is the so-called rainy season.

Nuances. On different Maldives islands, or even on different sides of the same island, sea and beach conditions can vary dramatically! Depending on currents and winds, the beach and coastal water can be very littered with algae, branches, leaves... There may be stones and corals on the seabed instead of white sand... Study all these questions when choosing a hotel!
Please note that most Maldives islands only have one hotel. Accordingly, you will have an assortment and price monopoly within one island. For example, a can of beer can cost you 7 dollars with absolutely no choice.
You should not be too afraid of tropical showers during the rainy season: they are rare, short-lived and usually occur at night... All year round, the air and water temperatures in the Maldives are practically unchanged. Accordingly, recommendations for the season to visit are quite conditional...

How to get there. A direct flight to the Maldives lasts about 9 hours.
