New year's night This is not the time to sit at home. Step outside the door and you can attend a carnival and parade with a dragon, see a parade of drummers and jazz Santa Clauses, play Quidditch, compete in magic competitions, listen to music and, of course, admire fireworks.

Last day of the year. Hours pass like minutes, final preparations are underway: we need to have time to iron tablecloths and New Year's costumes, wrap gifts, cut salads... The tree has long been decorated, guests have been invited and it has been decided how to celebrate. What if you want to have fun in a noisy company in the fresh air, but you didn’t have time to come up with a program?

Then head to the park, one of the county playgrounds, or the festival fairs. Even the road will be festive: New Year came down and brought songs from Soviet and French comedies and other hits. Schoolchildren congratulate Muscovites with poems, and from the announcers you can find out the size of the largest snowflake in the world, the name of the author of the first New Year's card, as well as where and when the tallest snowman in Russia was made.

Concerts, theater shows and fireworks

District sites operate on the same schedule . What to do here? Participate in competitions and quizzes, watch street theater performances, listen to evening concerts and dance at a disco. DJs, groups “Chelsea”, “Na-Na”, “Burito”, “Yarilov Znoy”, “Kvatro” and others will take the stage. The guests will be congratulated by Dmitry Kharatyan, Valeria Lanskaya, Anastasia Stotskaya, Mark Tishman, Alexander Panayotov, Nikita Malinin, Utah, Dakota and other artists.

The Kanikuly Mime Theater will present the play “Hares on Vacation” - an interactive mix of New Year’s numbers. Street theater Freak Fabrik will present “The White Tale” about a city where wizards came to return goodness there, and “Tall Brothers & Tall Brothers” will present a production of “Circus of Merry Brave Hares”. The author's theater "Sketches in Space" has prepared the show "White Forest" at the intersection of visual art and street theater, Chudaki will show "Winter Activity" about love, magic and the fight against villains, and "Bright People" will show "Ole-Lukoye".

A Quidditch battle will break out and wands will sparkle at magic competitions. And he invites you to a ball with candles, masks and fans. on New Year's Eve will turn into a Wonderland: here they will drink tea with the Mad Hatter, play chess with the White Rabbit and watch a fire show. will gather winter wizards from different countries— Russia, Italy, Finland, America and France.

The “New Year's Boom” will thunder with concerts, a neon dance show and a disco, and flash mob participants will dance with sparklers. The theme of the festive night will be the plot of the painting “Carnival Night”. At the carnival, guests will meet the main characters of the film - Comrade Ogurtsov and Lenochka Krylova. New Year's Eve will be held in the style of the musical fairy tale "Sorcerers" with a neon show, performances of stilt walkers and magicians. Dance and vocal groups and street theater artists will perform in the parks.

The New Year will be around the world in , where guests will be dressed up “in specks”, as in the Philippines, treated to Georgian kozinaki, asked to eat 12 grapes, as in Spain, and allowed to explode a couple of firecrackers, as in Berlin.

The New Year will also be celebrated more than once. In five hours - from 22:00 to 02:00 - guests will have time to visit the carnival in honor of the rising of the sun, a festive procession with a dragon, ride the skating rink and take part in an Italian-style celebration and a Scottish party.

Jazz Santa Clauses and light shows “Journeys to Christmas”

Where else to go? You can go to one of the central festival sites, which will be open on the holiday from noon to three in the morning. Guests can expect processions of fairy-tale characters and jazz Santa Clauses, a neon parade of drummers, street theater performances, light shows and New Year's concerts.

On Manezhnaya Square at 22:00 the performance “Santa’s Dream” by the “Fire People” theater will begin. At 22:30 guests will be entertained by artists from the Sosferas Theater, and at 23:20 the High Brothers Theater will show the play “Grandfather Mazai and the Hares.” Ten minutes before the chimes, an interactive program with quizzes and competitions starts, followed by dancing, musical sets, the play “Ole-Lukoje” and a show by the Freak-Cabaret band.

On Revolution Square at 23:00 and 02:00 the play “Ship” by the “Fire People” theater will be shown. Immediately after midnight Rodion Gazmanov will appear on stage, and at 00:35 the artists of the High Brothers Theater will perform the plays “Hares” and “Ole-Lukoje”.

On Tverskaya Square, the traditions of European countries will come to life: grapes will be distributed here, as in Spain, fortune telling on an apple, as in Austria, and kissing under the mistletoe, as in France. And in the evening the area will become a dance floor: from 23:00 the cover band SpringTime plays here.

In Novopushkinsky Square there will be a whole festival of light and fire: at 23:00 the show “Seasons” will be shown, at 00:30 - a light show, at 01:30 - a dance light show "Gatsby", and at 02:15 - "Christmas Light" show".

Pushkinskaya Square invites you to the interactive “Blue Light” at 23:00. At exactly midnight, the “New Year's Post” will open, where viewers will compose letters of congratulations for random recipients. And at 01:00 and 02:00 there will be parades of jazz Santa Clauses on stilts and unicycles.

Guests of the Book Market on Novy Arbat will hear DJ sets and dance on an impromptu dance floor near the street stage, and visitors to Kamergersky Lane will see a parade of the Maracatu drummer orchestra (23:00-03:00). Tverskoy Boulevard will become a theater on the festive night. The play “Silver Dreams” will be shown here at 23:00 and 02:00, “Imaginarium” at 00:00, and “Snow Angels” at 01:00.

Anastasia Krivogina is an illustrator. Graduate of the Institute of Graphics and Book Art named after. Favorsky, laureate of the All-Russian book illustration competition “Image of the Book” 2016 in the “New Names” category.

Day 212/31/17 Sevastopol. New Year's Eve

Breakfast. Visit to the Historical and Archaeological Museum "Chersonese Tauride". Getting to know the park and memorial complex at Historical Boulevard. Inspection of the exhibition “Panoramas of the Defense of Sevastopol 1854–1855.” Overview excursion around Sevastopol with a visit to the Grafskaya pier, Nakhimov Square, the memorial to the Heroic Defense of Sevastopol 1941-1942, the monument to A.I. Kazarsky - the very first monument in the city, Primorsky Boulevard, the famous monument standing right in the sea - the monument to the Sunken Ships. Free time. Upon request we offer boat trip along the Sevastopol Bay with an inspection of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet (from 400 rubles).

Day 301.01.18 Balaclava

Breakfast. Free time - rest after the banquet.
In the afternoon, transfer to Balaklava. Getting acquainted with one of the most interesting projects in Crimea - Champagne "TerruART" winery "Zolotaya Balka" with tasting of champagne wines. Bus-pedestrian sightseeing tour of Balaklava: walk along the embankment, exploring the famous Listrigonian Bay, Genoese fortress Chembalo, built in the 14th century, the Temple of the Twelve Apostles is one of the oldest Christian churches in Sevastopol. If desired, we suggest visiting the Museum of the History of Balaklava (adult - 300 rubles, child - 150 rubles). Return to the hotel. Dinner.

Day 401/02/18 Alupka

Breakfast. Release of rooms. Moving to Alupka. On the way to panorama inspection South Bank Crimea, Foros Church and Castle " bird home» (from the observation deck). Excursion to Vorontsov Palace Museum in Alupka - the most romantic architectural monument of Crimea (with a walk in the park).
