Aeroflot has tightened size requirements hand luggage on our own flights. The new requirements have become close to those currently being imposed by the subsidiary low-cost carrier Pobeda. Now a passenger can bring on board only one bag of goods from duty-free shops, and a backpack, previously not limited in size, can now not exceed 5 kg. Aeroflot told Kommersant that they are not tightening the rules, but are only bringing the company’s standards into line with federal aviation regulations. The airline explained the updated rules for placing hand luggage on board “not only with issues of comfort, but also with safety during the flight.”

Aeroflot airline has changed the requirements for carry-on luggage carried on board, the Travel.ru portal reported, citing the carrier’s statement on Facebook. From the list of items carried in addition to hand luggage, the carrier excluded cell phones, laptops, cameras, video cameras, umbrellas, paper folders and printed publications. These items will be included in the total weight of hand luggage: for economy class 10 kg, for business class - 15 kg.

According to the new rules, a passenger can also bring on board no more than one sealed bag from Duty Free shops (with dimensions in the sum of three dimensions no more than 115 cm). A backpack carried with hand luggage and still not limited in size must not weigh more than 5 kg and exceed 80 cm in the sum of three dimensions. Without additional payment, as well as size and weight restrictions, you can only carry a briefcase or handbag, outerwear, a suit in a briefcase and a bouquet of flowers. You can also bring it on board at no extra charge. baby food and devices for carrying a child weighing no more than 7 kg and dimensions no more than 42x50x20 cm, medicines, crutches, canes, walkers, rollators, a folding wheelchair. When transporting a musical instrument in hand luggage, a passenger will be able to carry additional items free of charge only that are specified in the list of excess hand luggage.

When checking in or at the boarding gate, passengers will have to present hand luggage for weighing, as well as a backpack, baby cradle, or baby stroller when transporting a child.

Aeroflot's message about the new “stuff checklist” emphasizes that placing hand luggage on board an aircraft is “a matter of not only comfort, but also safety during the flight.”

Aeroflot told Kommersant that they are only bringing the company’s standards into compliance with federal aviation regulations, which were amended at the end of 2017. Cameras, phones and other electronic devices are accepted for carriage if they are packed in hand luggage in quantities, dimensions and weight that meet the airline's rules. If these items are transported separately, then they are counted as one piece of hand luggage. Otherwise, these items are transported by general rules checked free and excess baggage, but in the luggage compartment of the aircraft in special protective cases.

Aeroflot emphasized that a special control system for hand luggage was introduced due to increasing complaints from passengers about the lack of space to accommodate it in the aircraft cabin.

Changes to hand luggage rules were widely discussed in 2017. The low-cost carrier Pobeda was the most active advocate for updating the rules. The carrier has repeatedly found itself at the center of litigation with passengers due to its own interpretations of air legislation, in particular those related to the size of the “backpack,” which were not specified anywhere.

At the end of July, the Federation Council, despite a barrage of criticism, approved a bill submitted by the government and passed through the State Duma repealing the norm free transportation luggage for non-refundable air tickets. The amendments retained in the Air Code (AC) for return tickets the right to check in baggage of at least 10 kg, but a non-refundable fare “may not include” the checked baggage allowance. The carrier is also obliged to inform the passenger about the conditions for the carriage of baggage and hand luggage when purchasing a ticket.

At the same time, the Ministry of Transport presented its draft regulatory act on carry-on luggage standards, explaining the VK norm. The ministry proposed setting a minimum luggage weight of 5 kg, and outerwear, an umbrella, a cane, a laptop, a mobile phone, a camera and a video camera were excluded from the list of things that can be taken on board for free.

Since December, Pobeda has prohibited passengers from taking into the aircraft cabin any items that exceed the size of the airline’s free hand luggage limit of 36x30x27 cm, as well as free hand luggage and items the carriage of which is permitted by law.

Elizaveta Kuznetsova

As a rule, when preparing for a trip (on vacation, on a business trip or just on business), we understand that we need to pack our things for the trip, so we begin to find out what size and weight of luggage is allowed from the air carrier whose ticket we purchased. At the same time, there are things that can be taken into the airplane cabin (), and there are things that can be checked in as checked luggage (which is considered checked), and some things are generally prohibited for air transportation. I have already described the carry-on luggage of major Russian air carriers: , . And now it’s time to talk about the things checked into the luggage compartment of these same companies. So, what can and cannot be taken with you in a suitcase on board a plane ( updated to reflect new baggage rules for fall 2017).

We will deal with luggage using the example of the largest Russian company Aeroflot, the baggage rules of other air carriers are not much different, so let’s get started. It’s always annoying to see various nuances that come up when it’s too late: they don’t let you board the plane with your huge bag, which turns out to contain the head of an animal prohibited for export, for example. Therefore, it is better to find out all the features in advance by reading about it than to be upset about wasted time, or even money (forewarned is forearmed).

Aeroflot calls baggage that you check into the cargo compartment and do not have access to during the flight as checked baggage, because... you hand it over under their responsibility. And see for yourself. However, do not forget that compensation for lost luggage may be too insignificant, this is one of the reasons why we always buy travel insurance. Tourist insurance, as a rule, covers such important risks as:

  • Damage and loss of luggage or its contents
  • Ban on flights, including denial of a visa to another country (it was for fear of not getting a visa that we bought our first insurance).
  • medical risks

Since January 1, 2017, the Internet has been filled with information about the ban on the import of imported alcoholic beverages into Russia. I want to dispel your doubts about whether or not to bring alcohol to Russia in 2017, according to the latest data, it was found out directly from Domodedovo customs (floridly, indicating articles and not particularly directly), that, You can carry 3 liters of alcohol with your loved ones, as before in checked baggage

Due to changes (new baggage rules) that occurred in the fall of 2017 Aeroflot I have not yet changed the conditions for the carriage of free hand luggage and baggage, so the information below is relevant and valid until the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018.

Baggage size and weight

Based on the sum of 3 dimensions, the size of checked baggage at Aeroflot should not exceed 158 cm, and the weight of the baggage depends on the class of ticket taken :

  • Business class - 2 seats no more than 32 kg each
  • Comfort class - 2 seats no more than 23 kg each
  • Economy class (Premium group) - 2 seats no more than 23 kg each
  • Economy class - 1 seat no more than 23 kg

If the total weight of luggage (including hand luggage) does not exceed 10 kg, then Aeroflot does not limit the number of pieces of luggage.

There are exceptions on the site, where even more free baggage pieces are given than expected, for example, in such directions as: between Los Angeles and points in the Middle East/Africa/Asia; to/from points in India, etc. see the airline's website.

What can you put in luggage that is checked into the cargo hold of an Aeroflot aircraft?

In addition to your belongings and items that you may need on your trip, Aeroflot allows you to carry the following:

  • crossbows, spearguns, checkers, sabers, cutlasses, scimitars, broadswords, swords, rapiers, bayonets, daggers, knives: hunting knives, knives with ejectable blades, with locking locks, simulators of any type of weapon;
  • household knives (scissors) with a blade length over 60 mm; alcoholic drinks containing more than 24%, but not more than 70% alcohol by volume in containers with a capacity of no more than 5 liters, in containers intended for retail trade - no more than 5 liters per passenger;
  • liquids and alcoholic drinks with an alcohol content by volume of no more than 24%;
  • aerosols intended for use for sports or household purposes, the release valves of the cans are protected by caps from spontaneous release of contents in containers with a capacity of no more than 0.5 kg or 500 ml - no more than 2 kg or 2 liters per passenger

Carriage as checked baggage at Aeroflot is prohibited:

Aeroflot excess baggage

Excess baggage rules apply when carried on Aeroflot flights, except for joint flights with other airlines, where there are rules for another carrier (Aeroflot calls them codeshare flights). The exceptions are airlines such as Aurora and Rossiya.

Aeroflot's excess baggage is divided into categories:

Tariffs in rubles are taken for transportation within Russia, and tariffs in USD (for transportation from points in the USA, Canada, Middle East, Africa, Ukraine, Asia, except points Russian Federation in Asia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan) and EUR (other shipments).

  1. Excess of free baggage allowance may be based on the number of pieces:
  • 2nd place (no more than two in total) - transportation within Russia 2500 rubles, as well as tariffs in USD and EUR - 50 conventional units.
  • 3rd and subsequent pieces (or in excess of two pieces of free baggage, or in excess of one free and additional baggage) - transportation within Russia 7,500 rubles, as well as fares in USD and EUR - 150 conventional units.

2. Excess of free baggage allowance may be by weight:

  • Over 23 kg, but not more than 32 kg - transportation within Russia is 2500 rubles, as well as tariffs in USD and EUR - 100 conventional units.
  • Over 32 kg, but not more than 50 kg - transportation within Russia is 5,000 rubles, as well as tariffs in USD and EUR - 150 conventional units.

3. Excess of free baggage allowance can be the sum of three dimensions:

  • Over 158 cm, but not more than 203 cm - transportation within Russia is 5,000 rubles, as well as tariffs in USD and EUR - 100 conventional units.
  • Over 203 cm - transportation within Russia is 7,500 rubles, as well as tariffs in USD and EUR - 150 conventional units.

In Russia, Aeroflot accepts foreign currency in rubles at the “systemic” rate, which is calculated based on the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, and rates are updated at Aeroflot on Wednesdays. Those. Exchange rates are calculated based on the previous Wednesday of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

The largest and oversized luggage (this is 32 kg, but not more than 50 kg and exceeding 203 cm in the sum of 3 dimensions) must be agreed upon with the carrier.

Non-standard luggage in the luggage compartment of an Aeroflot aircraft

Aeroflot asks that all non-standard baggage be approved when purchasing an air ticket: skiing, sports equipment; bicycles; golf equipment; fishing equipment; other equipment; weapons and ammunition; musical instruments; the animal must be included in your luggage no later than 36 hours before the flight departure time indicated in the schedule.

Sports equipment and supplies

The following equipment is considered as 1 piece and is included in the free baggage allowance:

  • Ski equipment - case with 1 pair of skis and 1 pair of poles + 1 piece of luggage with 1 pair of boots or 1 case with 1 pair of water skis
  • Snowboard equipment - 1 case with 1 snowboard + 1 piece of luggage with 1 pair of boots
  • Hockey equipment case with equipment + case with 2 sticks
  • Bicycle – prepared for transportation
  • Golf equipment - the equipment you need, packed in one case
  • Fishing equipment (packed in 1 container or case) - 2 fishing rods and 1 set of tackle
  • Aeroflot can also regard other sports equipment as free baggage if it does not exceed the allowed number of places in the ticket for free baggage allowance.

But at the same time you will have to pay for the excess over the established limit free rate, if the quantity, weight or number of free baggage pieces is exceeded.

Weapons and ammunition

The first thing a person transporting a weapon must have with them is permission to store and carry this weapon. Secondly, when booking and checking in for a flight, you need to inform that you are carrying weapons. Weapons and ammunition permitted for carriage in baggage may consist of one piece of baggage with one weapon (or one container specially designed for the carriage of weapons with several weapons belonging to one passenger) and one piece of baggage with ammunition. Such weapons and ammunition are not regarded as a separate place, they go together with your belongings, the main thing is that they do not generally exceed the established free norm (specified above in the article). If it exceeds, you will have to pay for excess baggage. Weapons and ammunition are prohibited from being transported in the same baggage (container). And the gross weight of ammunition cannot exceed 5 kg.

Musical instruments

Aeroflot allows the transportation of musical instruments both in checked luggage and hand luggage. When transported in a passenger seat, the weight of the tool should not exceed 80 kg, dimensions should not exceed 135x50x30 cm. When transported in the luggage compartment, the weight of the tool should not exceed 50 kg. Prior approval with the airline is required no later than 36 hours before the scheduled flight departure time.

Baby stroller, wheelchair

Aeroflot writes that if these items are used and necessary, then this baggage will be considered free. A large wheelchair, powered by batteries and weighing over 32 kg, is transported by agreement with the airline no later than 36 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight. In addition to wheelchair A special-purpose wheelchair is transported free of charge.

Animal in luggage

Aeroflot does not allow pets to be transported for free (the only exception is for a guide dog for a visually impaired person and a dog from the canine service of federal executive authorities; these dogs are allowed in the aircraft cabin). You will have to pay for the rest of the animals. Payment for an animal is charged as for a second piece of luggage; now Aeroflot charges 2,500 rubles if you are flying within Russia or 50 conventional units (euros or dollars), depending on where you are flying abroad. If the animal and its cage exceed the permissible size (weight and size no more than 50 kg), you will need to pay extra as for excess baggage. I repeat, when purchasing a ticket, agree with the carrier that you want to take an animal. Transportation of an animal or bird is possible only by an adult passenger. Everything must be with you Required documents for the transported animal.

The website says who cannot be carried as baggage:

  1. rodents (guinea pigs, rats, chinchillas, chipmunks, squirrels, gerbils, dormice, marmots, gophers, jerboas, etc.);
  2. reptiles (turtles, iguanas, geckos, chameleons, snakes, lizards, frogs, etc.);
  3. arthropods;
  4. animals and birds that are not domesticated;
  5. sick and experimental animals.

Indoor domesticated animals such as cats, dogs, birds are accepted for transportation. Other animals, such as ferrets, ferrets, meerkats, fennec foxes, lorises, hedgehogs, mini-rabbits, marmosets and others, are accepted for transportation if they are domesticated pets.

Caution for carrying Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones on board

Back on September 15, 2016, Aeroflot airline announced the news that owners of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones should carry them only in hand luggage, and under no circumstances in luggage. Several incidents of fire and explosion of this smartphone occurred around the world, and Samsung in October of the same year recalled all phones and offered to replace them with another model. In this regard, large Russian airlines, including Aeroflot, expressed their warnings regarding the transportation of this model:

  • Turn off your phone on board an airplane
  • Do not charge it during the entire flight

Some foreign countries have banned the carriage of this smartphone on board; read about them in the article -. This airline has clearly outlined the list of countries that prohibit the transportation of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone.

Good evening, I am flying from Dusseldorf to Irkutsk, with a transfer in Moscow. Can I carry small Kaffemaschinu and hard coffee capsules in their original packaging in my hand luggage? Thank you in advance!

        1. It all depends on the flight. If you don’t leave the safe zone and if you don’t open the package from duty free on the plane, then there definitely won’t be a problem. However, I remember they didn’t bother me with the open bottle. But it depends on your luck

      1. Hello, I’m completely confused, we’re flying to Vladivostok from Altai, we want to take 4 liters of Gorno-Altai non-alcoholic balms and honey as a gift, the balms come in factory packaging of 250 ml. We’re bringing 15 pieces, packed them in our luggage. Could there be problems?

    1. Good afternoon. The import of alcoholic beverages into Russia is regulated customs regulations. Usually this is three liters of strong alcohol per person. Alcohol can only be transported in checked baggage, that is, in the baggage that you check in. Please also note that the airline may impose a rule that alcohol must be in its original packaging, although they often turn a blind eye to this

  1. I am flying from Berlin to St. Petersburg by Aeroflot. I want to take meat products and cheese in my luggage, but this is the quantity in kg. can I carry it? Free luggage one piece up to 23kg. or is it still 20kg?

  2. Good evening. Please tell me about the liquid. I understand that the container should not exceed 100 ml and the total weight should not exceed 1000 ml.
Hence the question... if I have a lot of bottles and testers of 5 by 10 by 15 ml, the total weight does not exceed the norm of 1 liter. Will they let me through))?
    Thank you

  3. Good afternoon I’m returning from Yerevan to Moscow, I want to bring home the local fish Ishkhan, already cooked on coals, to treat my friends, and raw khinkali. Everything is from the store, they are also prepared in the store, I can save the labels. Will they let me through with this food, or might they take something away? Thanks in advance for your answer!

    1. Good afternoon. You can carry food in your luggage, there will be no complaints. There may be questions from customs, but this is also unlikely, since customs turns a blind eye to small human joys (an extra bottle of alcohol or delicious food)

    1. Good afternoon. Jam is a liquid, so the rules for transporting liquids apply to it:
      - no more than a liter in 100 ml containers in hand luggage
      — any volumes in checked baggage within the tariff ( permissible weight and volume)

» - find out about luggage and hand luggage in advance. Avianiti briefly talks about the main requirements of the main Russian airline to passengers' luggage.

Carriage of baggage and hand luggage is included in all Aeroflot air ticket fares; the differences are only in the number of pieces and weight of baggage. For example, in a cheap promotional fare you can only carry one piece of baggage, while in business class there are two or three pieces depending on the destination. Aeroflot recommends that customers study information about ticket fares and baggage before purchasing air tickets.

Excess baggage is subject to additional charges. Aeroflot will transport him provided that there is free space on the plane after loading the passengers' belongings. If you plan to carry oversized luggage on your trip, weighing from 32 to 50 kg and measuring more than 203 cm, please notify the airline 36 hours before departure. Any excess and oversized baggage must be agreed upon with the airline and obtain permission and confirmation of transportation from it. Otherwise, there will be no place for your luggage.

Payment for excess baggage is only possible at airport check-in counters.

Carry-on baggage requirements

Aeroflot airlines allow items weighing up to 10 kg and measuring up to 115 cm in the sum of three changes in economy class, and up to 15 kg in business class. In addition, passengers can take additional personal items into the aircraft cabin; they are not weighed or registered at the check-in counter.

Only the passenger is responsible for the safety of items transported in the aircraft cabin.

Aeroflot hand luggage, dimensions and weight 2018

Aeroflot has again updated its hand luggage restrictions, making them more flexible. Currently, the carrier’s website states that the dimensions of one piece of hand luggage for all classes of service should not exceed: 55 cm in length, 40 cm in width, 25 cm in height. Weight Limit hand luggage is 10 and 15 kg depending on the class of service.

On February 12, the carrier issued a press release stating that from February 15, Aeroflot will strictly monitor passengers’ compliance with carry-on baggage standards. At the same time, it was reported that the airline had reduced permissible size bags that can be accepted as hand luggage, up to dimensions 55 x 40 x 20 cm (length, width, height).

This framework does not include many suitcases purchased by passengers specifically for carry-on luggage. In fact, the airline applied the norms of foreign low-cost carriers, asking passengers to pay extra for excess baggage.

Rossiya Airlines, baggage and hand luggage allowances 2018

Baggage and hand luggage allowances 2018 for passengers of the Rossiya company (part of the Aeroflot group) are published on the carrier’s official website https://www.rossiya-airlines.com/flight-with-us/on-board/your_baggage/

Hand luggage standards for Russian airlines

S7 Airlines allows you to carry 1 piece of hand luggage in the cabin measuring 115 cm (55 x 40 x 20 cm) and weighing 10-15 kg, depending on the class of service.

U " Ural Airlines» The dimensions of one piece of hand luggage for all classes of service and fares are no more than 55 x 40 x 20 cm. The weight of hand luggage and the number of pieces depends on the class of service (1-2 pieces from 5 to 15 kg).

UTair allows you to take items weighing up to 10 kg and the sum of three dimensions up to 115 cm (55 × 40 × 20) in hand luggage; you can carry one piece. In the Comfort and Business fare plans, two pieces of hand luggage are allowed.

The carry-on baggage allowance for the low-cost Pobeda airline is limited to dimensions of 36 x 30 x 27 cm.

Carry-on luggage on an airplane dimensions and weight. Hyou can take it with you to the plane cabin

5 kg is the minimum weight of hand luggage that a passenger can take on the plane for free. Until 2018, the weight of hand luggage was not specified in any laws or regulations; everything was left to the airlines. On the other hand, not a single Russian carrier has a norm of less than 5 kg (even Pobeda literally ten days ago included 5 kg in its rules). More - as much as you like. Aeroflot, for example, has 10 kg. The order does not prohibit airlines from maintaining more generous rates. And, of course, 5 kg must comply with the norms aviation security(that is, liquids - in containers up to 100 ml).

Mobile phones, cameras, laptops and other gadgets, as well as umbrellas and books, were excluded from the list of things that can be taken into the cabin for free EXCEEDING the carry-on baggage allowance. Argument of the Ministry of Transport: they can be put away in a handbag, briefcase or backpack. With a mobile phone - no problem, you can put it in your pocket, and it’s lightweight and won’t create an advantage. But a professional camera or laptop taken together may well do so. You can't put equipment in your luggage.

New baggage rules, Pobeda

On Pobeda Airlines LLC flights, the following restrictions apply to the carriage of Hand Luggage:

overall dimensions no more than 36 x 30 x 27 centimeters,

total weight no more than 5 kilograms.

If you are not sure that your Carry-on Baggage meets the required dimensions, place it in the mechanical Carry-on Baggage meters with the airline logo installed at the airport. Carry-on baggage must be measured before entering the passenger screening area. The Carry-on Baggage allowance applies to each Passenger separately and does not apply to children under 2 years of age who are carried free of charge.

Full rules for the carriage of baggage and hand luggage are published on the official website of Pobeda.

Passengers largest airline Russian Federations often come across such a term as extra luggage in Aeroflot, which on the official website is called excess. This category includes those types of cargo that exceed the norms for free transportation of items established by the carrier. A passenger who has violated the rules must pay a fee taking into account the current tariffs. What is the price extra bed for luggage at Aeroflot? What does the price depend on? How to make a payment? We will consider these and other points in detail.

Current standards

To ensure that the carriage of additional baggage on Aeroflot aircraft does not come as a surprise, you need to clearly understand the standards that the carrier sets for customers.

It all depends on the class of service that the passenger has chosen:

  • In the Business class It is allowed to check in luggage for two pieces, each of which should not exceed 32 kg in weight. For hand luggage - 1*15 kg.
  • In "Comfort" and "Economy" classes(Premium group) the permissible norm is less. Here, two seats are also allowed, but the maximum weight should not exceed 23 kg. For hand luggage - 1*10 kg.
  • In other Economy class tariffs You can only take one seat, and the upper weight limit is only 23 kg. For hand luggage - 1*10 kg.

For all three cases, the size standards are identical - no more than 115 cm(for hand luggage) and 158 cm (for regular cargo). In other situations, you will have to buy space for additional luggage on Aeroflot airliners.

If the total weight of the transported cargo is not more than 10 kg, the number of seats is not limited. In this case, a mark on the number of acceptable items for free cargo is placed on the receipt. The registration standards mentioned are valid from the point of departure to the destination city or the first stopover city. In case of cooperation with other airlines during the flight, transportation standards may change.

How much does extra baggage cost at Aeroflot?

Knowledge of cargo transportation standards is mandatory for all air carrier passengers. Otherwise, oversized or extra-heavy baggage will be detected during the check-in period, which may result in flight delays and inability to board the plane. That is why the conditions and standards for transporting things should be clarified in advance, even before purchasing a ticket and registering.

How much does extra baggage cost at Aeroflot?? From November 15, 2016, new tariffs were introduced for air carrier passengers. The cost of excess cargo depends on the type of “violation”, and the amount of payments is given in different currencies. Full information on the price of additional baggage can be found on the official Aeroflot website.

Basic tariffs:

  • If the number of seats increases (when the norm is limited to only one item), you will have to pay 2,500 rubles for the next place, and 7,500 for the third. When transporting from other countries, the cost of an additional piece of baggage is calculated in euros and US dollars (100 and 200, respectively).
  • If according to the tariff the norm was two places, but there were not enough for the passenger to place his things, for the third and each subsequent position you will have to pay 7,500 rubles. In US and EU currency it is 200 dollars (euros), respectively.
  • If the weight of additional baggage carried on an Aeroflot airliner exceeds 23 kg, the additional payment will be 2,500 rubles. (125 in foreign currency). In this case, the upper limit should not be more than 32 kg. If the higher limit of 32 kg (but not more than 50 kg) was exceeded, you will have to buy additional luggage space for the amount of 5,000 rubles. ($200 and Euro).
  • Another situation involves the transportation of large cargo, the dimensions of which exceed the permissible limits. If the dimensions (the sum of three dimensions) are more than 158 cm, but less than 203 cm, the payment for additional baggage at Aeroflot will be 5,000 rubles. ($125 and euros).

Exceeding the dimensions of 203 cm will cost more- in the amount of 7500 rubles. (in EU and US currencies - 200).

Tariff features

It is worth considering that the given fares are valid only for Aeroflot airline aircraft. For cases of shared use, it is worth checking in advance how much an additional piece of baggage on the plane costs, because the tariff plan of another carrier may differ. It is advisable to obtain this information in advance with the help of a contact center operator.

If the transported cargo weighs more than 32 kg, and its dimensions (dimensions) are outside the permissible limits (from 203 cm or more), transportation can be carried out after resolving the issue with airline representatives.

Another point is how to pay for additional luggage when transporting it by Aeroflot. This can be done directly at the airport - near the counter where baggage is checked in. But it’s better to do the work in advance - through the official website. If the actual weight of the cargo turns out to be greater, you can pay the difference at the airport.
