There is no kettle in the room, this is a big minus, for hot water from the cooler you need to go up the stairs to the reception, but there is no cold water in the cooler (service). The advertised Internet is not available in the rooms, you can only get it at the reception and only if you can connect (which is not at all easy). There is a refrigerator in the room, it cools perfectly. Another interesting point, in a four-bed room for 4 people and 4 beds (attention) - three plates, three glasses, three blankets, the fourth person is walking through the forest, he has not earned himself a guest set))) The beds are comfortable, you can sleep, they don’t creak , soft mattresses. Plasma TV. Dining room is expensive compared to others on main street, you can eat even tastier and much cheaper in other places. It was possible to place a couple of Umbrellas on the terrace (not everyone can stand the sun). The pool is large, spacious, with a toilet and shower, but very stuffy (there is no exhaust system), you can’t stay there for a long time, the high concentration of bleach gives you a severe headache. The water in it is warm. The pool is open from 8-00 to 21-00, which is not good, sometimes after 9 you want to go for a swim, but it’s already closed (a big minus) and on Thursdays it’s generally closed for sanitary day (I think this is complete nonsense), you need it at night clean it, you take a lot of money from people for accommodation, so then give people a complete normal rest for their money. Still not pleased with the steps from the hotel and in the hotel itself. Spiral staircases in the building itself, very dangerous, narrow and steep, to get to the pool and dining room, again steps, but stone and smooth (but still steps), and to go to the sea there are again a lot of steps from the hotel, but nothing there yet , but when you come from the sea, bathed and nailed by the sun, and there is such an obstacle ahead, then the thought immediately pops into your head, never set foot here again (a huge minus). Pleasant hotel owner, met several times. In general, the guest house is not bad for a one-time stay and is suitable for a stay of no more than a week. There is nothing to do there more than once.

Let us say right away that our expectations and ideas about the services offered, obtained from the Internet, were justified.
This year we decided to resume our holiday on the Black Sea in Krasnodar region. We decided to choose something calmer and more suitable for children. It was decided not to visit Gelendzhik, which we had previously examined; Anapa was no longer needed due to the crowds, which ultimately came true, and on the advice of colleagues and acquaintances we settled on the village of Vityazevo.
On the Internet, we got acquainted in absentia with the future place of stay and, at the same time, with offers of accommodation.
From the mass of hotels and guest houses, what was read and objectively presented, and what is very important and pleasant, in 3D images, attracted interest at the Klen Hotel. Since we have two small children of 4 years old and a teenager of 13 years old, we needed comfort, a closed and cozy area, we were attracted by an indoor pool and a children's playground.

We called and explained everything to us. We booked a room. Moreover, you could choose with or without a balcony.
For the safety of children, we chose without a balcony. Closer to the planned departure for vacation, we found out the bank account number to which it was necessary to send a deposit amounting to the daily amount of accommodation.
We called back and checked to see if everything had arrived. We agreed on a transfer.

They immediately described to us the person who would meet us. They were worried whether everything would be fair and whether they would meet us.
Previously we had a not very positive experience with transfers. Two days on the train were immediately crowned with pleasantness.
From the windows of the carriage we saw a man holding a sign “Golden Maple”. You can understand how confidence in the chosen hotel has grown.
A little later we found out that the owner, Alexander Modestovich Klenov, met us.

Upon arrival, the room was freshly cleaned, but we were given a choice of two.
Perhaps we were lucky, but the fact is clear. From those offered, we chose for our family of 5 people the one that is a little more spacious and with a view of the village, hotels and the sea. The rooms are not large, but we have no complaints, since in the room we only performed morning procedures, drank tea and coffee and had a snack - there is a refrigerator, there is a table, there is a TV to accompany us, a good powerful air conditioner is available, we came in the afternoon for a “quiet hour” children.
The eldest son looked after the sleeping kids and at the same time used the Wi-Fi capabilities, while we explored the village and visited retail outlets. After sleep, we went to the beach again or went down to the pool, and returned to the room, of course, to sleep. There was enough shared bathroom for everyone.

During your stay, the existing swimming pool became a real highlight of your holiday. and sometimes a salvation for us, parents. In the heat of the day, the children enjoyed swimming under the roof after the beach, and, tired, rested in a quiet hour. We did not experience any rain, and guests who arrived earlier said that they appreciated the indoor pool. In the evening after the beach before the pool closed, it was also impossible to do without visiting it. Good water exercise at night!

There may be a minus that he worked from 8.00 to 21.00, but rules are rules. At least we didn't complain.

After reconnaissance of the area, we appreciated that the chosen hotel was located away from large and noisy hotels, from the entertainment alley that stretched between parallel streets leading to the beach. And the distance from the beach is quite acceptable to take a walk, stop by a canteen-cafe along the way, of which there are many, and buy vegetables, fruits, groceries, souvenirs, etc. along the way. True, with children this hike takes 15 minutes. ideally turned into a painful hour-plus for us.

But on the plus side: there are many canteens with a variety of dishes, trays with baked goods, beach accessories and supplies, souvenirs... We won’t repeat ourselves. Having had lunch upon arrival in the hotel dining room, we then ate on the way from or to the beach, turning this into another adventure for the children. But also one of the minuses: the children did not appreciate the food in the hotel cafeteria. And then, it seemed to us that food at Klena was a little more expensive than in the accompanying canteens. In addition, along the way we could take mineral water, and the children have an oxygen cocktail in the opened pavilion.

We were pleased with the location of our hotel and also the fact that along the way, a maximum of 200 meters, there was a grocery store, a wine store with local wines and cognac liqueurs, opposite there was a stall in which delicious grilled chicken was prepared, the children happily devoured the diet dish.

Another plus we appreciated was our separate “Klena” beach. And this year he was not very far from the entrance to the beach. A little further from the central one - Paralia and closer to the second one, where on the border of paving stones and beach sand there is a fountain and the Olympia water park is built.
The beach is small, but there was enough space and sun loungers for everyone. But it would be nice to add umbrellas.
Therefore, as on any beaches: the sooner you arrive, the sooner you will take a place under the umbrella. By the way, the “Klena” beach was now open from 8.00 to 20.00. The sun loungers were placed by a special caretaker, but they could be moved at will. Unlike the neighboring beach of another hotel, on which all the sunbeds were connected by a chain, and moving the sunbed was problematic.

The bottom and the beach itself- sandy, as we needed for children, but the bottom is uneven. If opposite our beach it gradually deepened and then shallowed again, then passing perpendicularly deep place opposite our beach, opposite the neighboring one, it was already knee-deep. But in any case, you need to keep an eye on the children. The water was clean all days of our stay. There were algae near the shore, but further away there was much less of it and even the bottom was visible.

About excursions.
Prices for trips are the same everywhere, but the tours vary. Stalls with offers are also in the same direction. Returning from the beach, we paid for the planned excursion to the lotuses and mud on the Azov Sea. We were lucky that such an excursion was in our passing stall. Having carried out reconnaissance along other streets of the village, which are located higher from our hotel, we noticed slightly lower prices for food there, but the excursion stalls did not offer the desired excursion.

The meeting point for the trip was also a stone's throw from the hotel. If we were picked up at 8.40, then even with small children we had time to have breakfast and get on the bus on time. By the way, during the 5-year break in visiting Krasnodar region, I was pleasantly surprised that the buses are now air-conditioned, which cannot be said about the trains. But on the downside, along the way they stopped stopping at the melon farm, where they used to be able to buy watermelons or melons for cheap. And self-made cognacs and wines are no longer held in high esteem. But during the excursion there was a free tasting of local factory wines, and we purchased the Kuban Balsam we liked.

Returning to the hotel, it is worth noting that there is no traffic flow here, the hotel is located at the dead end of the alley. But one of the downsides for many, and especially parents of children in wheelchairs: when leaving the hotel gates, you have to overcome an impressive flight of stairs. The gangways for strollers were not all along the span; mothers and fathers lifted strollers in their arms; it was not easy for the elderly either.
But whether this will be a big obstacle for you, everyone decides for themselves.
