Vnukovo Airport is the oldest in Moscow. It consists of three main terminals, which are designated by the letters A, B, D. When answering the question of how many terminals there are in Vnukovo, in addition to these three, it is also necessary to mention the government terminal (Vnukovo-2) and the complex for VIP clients (Vnukovo-3) . These buildings are located separately from the three main ones. But they are not far away. In addition, these complexes are quite easy to find, since there are special signs along the road from the terminals.

Terminal A is the largest. Approximately 80% of the total flow is served here. Previously, only domestic flights throughout the country, but over the past 3 years it has also served passengers on international flights. Terminal B handles approximately 18% of passenger traffic. Mainly served here charter flights various international destinations, as well as flights to Asia and low-cost flights. Terminal D was built back in the 80s. However, despite the fact that it was reconstructed not so long ago, now it practically does not serve passengers. It is used today exclusively for the arrival of domestic flights. It is worth noting that the layout of Vnukovo Airport is designed in such a way that you can only exit terminal D through building B. All these buildings are located in one line.

The so-called special terminal, separately worthwhile complex Vnukovo-2 is designed to serve government officials. It is located close to the main three terminals, further south. In the western part there is another complex. This is the VIP lounge at Vnukovo-3 airport. This building is dedicated to business flights.

Terminal A

This complex consists of three floors, thanks to which it is possible to separate several flows of passengers arriving or departing here. On level -1 there is a transition to the Aeroexpress station. There are also luggage storage facilities, as well as numerous UTair self-check-in counters.

Below is the arrivals area, where customs control and baggage is issued. There is a waiting room for those who meet passengers. You can buy souvenirs on this floor. There are cafes, check-in counters, ATMs and ticket offices for various airlines.
From the overpass you can get directly to the second floor of this terminal. There is no need to pay to enter the overpass. On the second floor, security checks are carried out and oversized luggage is checked in. There is an information desk and airline ticket offices here. On the second floor there is a specially designated sterile area from which you can board. Also on this level there are cafes, shops with souvenirs and other goods, and ATMs. There is a DVD cinema on the second floor.

To make it easier for passengers to navigate this level of the terminal, the diagram of Vnukovo Airport will be very useful in this case. Briefly for better orientation:

  • In the departure area in the left corner there is a service desk for disabled people and a children's room.
  • There are public toilets on the right side of the departure area.
  • There is a cafe in the right corner.
  • Boarding for domestic flights is on the left side of the building.
  • International flights board on the right side of the terminal.

The third floor is for waiting for flights. There is a cafe here. There is also a business lounge on the third level. To get here, you need to go up to the top, that is, the 3rd floor; you do not need to go through passport and customs control.

For ease of movement around the terminal, there are elevators, escalators, and travelators. There are special elevators for disabled people and ramps. There is Wi-Fi on all floors.

Terminal B

This terminal handles most international charter flights as well as regular flights. In the future, it is planned to transfer all regular flights to the first terminal (A). Therefore, it is likely that Terminal B will soon serve only charter flights. This building consists of two floors.

On the ground floor you need to register and check in your luggage. There is an arrivals hall, a cafe, and ticket offices that sell not only air tickets, but also train tickets. There are also special counters on the ground floor where you can book hotel rooms and order a taxi. There is Wi-Fi here too.
The second floor is used to carry out passenger control procedures and check them hand luggage. This is where the boarding gates are located. On the floor above there is a lounge for passengers who have purchased business class tickets. In addition, there are special check-in counters for passengers flying without luggage.

Terminal D

This terminal is practically not used anymore. There are no flights from here. The terminal does not have its own exit. The only thing it is still used for is flying from North Caucasus. This is due to the increased requirements of the special services. It is expected that this terminal will be completely closed soon. The building itself is planned to be demolished.

Passenger check-in at this terminal ends 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time. And check-in begins at least 2 hours before departure. This time is set individually for each airline. To save time, passengers are advised to check in online as with only 40 minutes left before departure, counter staff will no longer be able to check in passengers. After registration, you need to go to the second floor to go through all the necessary registration procedures (including customs control). Boarding ends twenty minutes before departure.

VIP room

This is a hall that is located separately from other terminals and serves passengers regardless of which terminal they depart from. In this complex, passengers are given the opportunity to check-in for flights within the country and to other countries. Customs and passport control. But all this is available only to VIP passengers. There is a separate parking area for passenger cars. Clients have the opportunity to order a meeting room.

The services provided in the lounge are available only to those VIP passengers who have purchased a voucher at the ticket office (of any terminal) or have entered into a cooperation agreement (if the client is entity). Services must be ordered no later than one day before departure. Heroes of the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation and participants of the Great Patriotic War are served free of charge in this hall.

Vnukovo-2

This is a terminal serving the government. Only government officials are served here. Moreover we're talking about about leaders and other representatives of the government of any state who fly to the Russian Federation on official working visits at the invitation of the president or other representatives of the Russian government.

All Vnukovo terminals are equipped in such a way as to provide the maximum degree of comfort to passengers, as well as to minimize the time required for check-in and procedures such as customs and passport control, baggage clearance, etc.

Note: if you need long-term parking, then you can save a lot of money by using the services. Their parking lots are located approximately 10 minutes from Moscow airports. Provided free airport transfer and back, free luggage packing. Cost: when parking for 30 days - 200 rubles, according to club card— 225 rubles, common price— 250 rubles per day.

Updated 09/08/2019

In this article you will learn how to get to Vnukovo Airport in a variety of ways - budget and not so. Vnukovo is the only one of the three air harbors of the capital’s air hub, which is geographically located within Moscow. Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo are located in the Moscow region. It just so happens that for me Vnukovo is the most dear airport, since I come here every three months. And all because the Hungarian low-cost airline WizzAir flies only from here.

There are exactly the same number of main ways to get to Vnukovo as to other airports, that is, four:

  1. Aeroexpress.
  2. Public transport.
  3. Taxi.
  4. Your own car.

Below I will tell you more about each of them.

How to get to Vnukovo Airport by Aeroexpress

Aeroexpress trains to Vnukovo depart from Kievsky railway station(Kyiv metro station) daily from 6:00 (from Moscow) and from 6:00 (from the airport).

Frequency of movement: every 30-60 minutes (depending on the time of day).

Travel time:35 minutes.

The last Aeroexpress from Moscow leaves at 00:00, from Vnukovo - 00:00.

Fare:420 rubles when purchasing a ticket on the website and through mobile app Aeroexpress. In other cases 500 rubles.

How to get to Vnukovo airport from the metro

The metro does not go directly to Vnukovo Airport. Most a budget option: metro + bus connection. Buses to Vnukovo depart from metro stations

  • Southwestern.
  • Troparevo.
  • Salaryevo.
  • Filatov Meadow.

For non-Moscow residents, there are two optimal ways to pay for travel.

  1. Single ticket - 55 rubles for 1 trip or 110 rubles for two (metro + bus to the airport).
  2. “Troika” card — deposit cost 50 rubles (refunded when handing over the card). 1 trip on the metro - 38 rubles, 1 trip on other public transport - 38 rubles. A trip at the 90-minute fare with transfers costs 59 rubles. The main thing is to have time to transfer from the metro to the bus within an hour and a half.

Bus from the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station

  • Bus number and operating hours? No. 611 (runs from 5:30 to 1:20).
  • How to find: exit the first carriage, go right into the underground passage, then go left along the stairs.
  • Travel time: 40-60 minutes (travel interval from 11 minutes).

Please note that the information presented in this article is not intended as a guide. I recommend looking at the exact schedule on the Mosgortrans website. To do this, you need to enter the route number, indicate the day of interest and the direction of travel.

From Troparevo metro station

In December 2014, a new station on the Sokolnicheskaya (red) metro line “Tropaervo” was opened. It is located immediately behind the Yugo-Zapadnaya station and the above-mentioned buses also pass next to it. But I would still recommend taking the bus at Yugo-Zapadnaya, since this stop is the final one, which means there is a high chance of getting a seat and not having to hang around with your luggage for 40 minutes in the aisle.

From metro station "Salaryevo"

In February 2016, the Sokolnicheskaya line was replenished with another station - Salaryevo. From here, express bus No. 911 runs to Vnukovo airport every 8-15 minutes (the frequency depends on the time of day) (the stop is located 15 meters from the metro exit). Travel time takes approximately 20 minutes. This route operates on the line from 7 am to midnight. Get off at the Vnukovo Airport stop (200 meters from terminal A through an underground passage).

On this moment I think this method is optimal for getting into Grandchildren using public transport.

From metro station "Filatov Lug"

The bus goes to the “Hotel” stop (intermediate). After disembarking, you need to cross the intersection diagonally and move towards the terminal until the underground passage with the Aeroexpress sign. Walk about 500 meters. Bus operating hours: from 5:11 to 0:20.

Night bus H11

Since 2018, a night bus has been running between the center of Moscow and Vnukovo Airport.

Departs from Slavyanskaya Square (Kitay-Gorod metro station).

Working hours

  • From Vnukovo airport to the center - from 23:30 to 4:30
  • From the center to the airport - 1:00 to 6:00.

To Vnukovo by taxi

I recommend using the services of legal taxis, that is, those that have a license to operate. In my opinion, now in Moscow all taxi cars that have received a license must be painted in yellow. At Vnukovo Airport you can order a taxi at the stands located on the first floor of terminals A and B. You can order it in advance via the Internet.

The most important advantage of ordering a taxi to Vnukovo airport online is the fixed price. That is, you will know in advance how much you need to give to the driver. Or you can pay the entire cost of the trip with a bank card when ordering a car and not pay the driver anything at all.

A taxi from the center of Moscow to Vnukovo airport will cost from 1,500 rubles and this is a fixed price, no additional payments. You can also order a taxi from Domodedovo to Vnukovo, which is suitable for those who fly into one airport and then fly further from another. In addition, when ordering, you can choose the class of car in which they will come to pick you up. Naturally, the higher it is, the more expensive the trip will be.

You already understand that the main advantage of a taxi to Vnukovo airport is the fixed price, but it is far from the only one. You can pay for your order instantly using bank card or PayPal and no longer worry about cash or the fact that the driver doesn’t have change. It is also convenient for those who fly into one airport, fly out from another and do not want to change their currency to rubles.

If there are a lot of you traveling on a trip (5 or more people), then ordering a minivan is a great option. In this case, a trip to the airport can cost only 350 rubles per person, that is, even less if you go by Aeroexpress.

Uber, Yandex.Taxi or Gett

One of the options to get to or from Vnukovo Airport comfortably is to use a taxi app. There are three main ones and each can be downloaded to a smartphone, both on the iOS and Android operating systems.

  • GETT - enter promo code GTVKFYM and get up to 500 bonuses (1 bonus = 1 ruble). The size of the bonus depends on the region.
  • Uber - the service currently does not offer promotional codes.
  • Yandex. Taxi - use code kvtgmnqn receive a 30% discount on the first three trips (the total discount amount is no more than 250 rubles). The discount applies only when paying for the trip with a bank card.

To Vnukovo by your own car, parking at the airport

Depending on the route and road load, you can arrive at Vnukovo Airport by car along one of three highways - Kievsky, Borovsky and Minsky. If there are no traffic jams on the Kiev highway, then this route is the most optimal.

There are several parking lots in the immediate vicinity and also not far from Vnukovo Airport. The cost of a day depends on the distance to the passenger terminal.

Parking in multi-level parking lots No. 1 and No. 2 or at airport terminals. Located directly opposite the entrance to the airport passenger terminals. Parking costs 24 hours 750 rubles in open areas and 1,000 rubles in a closed box.

Long-term parking No. 4 located inside the overpass ring closer to Borovskoye Highway. It is convenient to enter it for those traveling from Moscow along the Kyiv Highway. Cost of parking per day – 500 rubles.

Long-term parking No. 5 and No. 6 are located on Central Street. Has convenient access from Kievskoye or Borovskoye highway. The parking lot is located about a kilometer from the Vnukovo terminals, but you won’t have to walk. There is a free shuttle service to/from the airport terminals. The cost of the first two days of parking is: 300 rubles, from the third and subsequent days - 250 rubles.

Pay attention to parking lots in Vnukovo with a free transfer. For example, this one. Only from 225 rubles per day.

You receive not only a free transfer, but also the following services, for which you do not have to pay additionally:

  • Free luggage packing.
  • Client room with shower, toilet and wi-fi.
  • Free tire inflation and battery charging.
  • Discounts for regular customers.

Free transfer is available 24 hours a day. Travel time from the parking lot to the terminal is only 5-7 minutes. You can reserve a parking space in advance online using the form above.

If you find out about other parking lots in Vnukovo with a free transfer, write in the comments and share the information :).

If you do not live in Moscow and are traveling according to the train - Moscow - Vnukovo airport plan, then you will find the application useful Yandex.Metro, which will pave optimal route from the station where you arrive, then the point from where you will go to the airport (if you need a bus, then this is the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station, if Aeroexpress, then the Kievskaya metro station). For example, you need to find out how to get from Kursky Station to Vnukovo Airport. We enter the Kurskaya metro station in the “From” field, and the “Yugo-Zapadnaya” metro station in the “Where” field (I always try to take cheap public transport, not the expensive Aeroexpress). We see that the journey will take about 33 minutes and requires 1 transfer.

Readers also once asked me how to get from the Kazansky railway station to Vnukovo airport. In this case, the journey will be even easier, since no transfers are needed. I sat down at the Komsomolskaya metro station, drove 13 stops, got off, took bus 611, and in 35-40 minutes you were at the airport.

We similarly plot the route from any train station in Moscow. This can be done in advance at home on your computer or install the application on your phone (there are Android and iOS versions).

How to get from Vnukovo airport to Moscow

All of the above methods are suitable - choose according to your taste and wallet. The only point concerns bus 611. When it arrives from Moscow, passengers disembark at the first stop after the turn.

When you have flown in from somewhere and you need to go to the city, there is no point in getting on this bus and waiting for it at this stop - 611 goes further along its route, not to Moscow. You need a stop, which is located on the street. Central (about 5 minutes walk from the terminal). That's probably all I wanted to tell you.

Always yours, Daniil Privonov.

Terminal A of Vnukovo has three floors and a zero level - an underground Aeroexpress station. If you turn left and left again, you will find yourself on the street to the main entrance to the terminal. Luggage storage and self-check-in counters are located on level -1 of Vnukovo Airport.
From the parking lot or public transport, enter the first floor; getting out of the car on the overpass (entrance to it is free) will take you directly to the departure area of the second floor, but parking there is prohibited and you will not be able to exit through the same door from the terminal onto the street.

On the ground floor of the Vnukovo terminal, in addition to the entrance and exit, there are baggage claim areas with 10 conveyor belts. There is also a Lost & Found service, a 24-hour bank branch and ATMs, transagency counters, taxis and car rental services. In the waiting room for greeting passengers there is a café and a communications salon.

We depart from the second floor, where check-in counters, customs control and the boarding gate are located. Conveniently, check-in counters are assigned to specific airlines. It doesn't matter whether it's a domestic flight or an international one, search by the airline's name. In the same place you can pack your luggage and pay for overload. There are self-registration kiosks near each island with counters.
For passengers on the 2nd floor there are food outlets and shops, a first-aid post, bank branches and ATMs, and a police station.

The boarding gates are located just behind the check-in counters, go through the pre-flight security area and you will find yourself in a sterile area. On the left side there is boarding for domestic flights, on the right there are waiting rooms and gates for international flights. At the entrance opposite gate 2828A there is a transfer area for domestic flights.

In the sterile area there are Duty Free shops (international flights area) and Duty Paid shops (domestic flights area), a children's playground, and a business lounge.

How to quickly leave Vnukovo towards Moscow

If you walk 450 m from the terminal along 1st Reisovaya to Tsentralnaya, you will get to the Hotel stop on three routes 611/911/272. Buses 911 and 272 will take you to the Salaryevo metro station, and 611 to Troparevo or Yugo-Zapadnaya. You can also go to Rumyantsevo, but the path to the metro is not close and along the highway, with bulky luggage we do not recommend this option: cross the overpass, walk a little forward along the road and to the left to the side office buildings, on the right hand side there will be a station.

The airport bus stop is located to the side behind multi-storey parking lots. After leaving the building, go forward, going around the parking lot, to the overpass. After passing under it, cross 2 roads and you will go straight to two stops. The required stop towards Moscow is located further from the intersection, follow the route indicated on the bus, you need a sign to the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station. Use this stop to board the empty bus at the terminus.

Near Terminal A of the airport there are only minibuses, which depart as they fill with passengers, approximately once every half hour. When traveling from Vnukovo to Moscow, stay away from route 526 to the metro Teply Stan it takes 1 hour 44 minutes to get to the metro, making 49 stops.

Opposite Terminal A you will find a parking lot for 45 minibuses, which for 150 rubles will take you to the Yugo-Zapadnoye metro station in 20 minutes: fast, but not the most economical option.

Aeroexpress Vnukovo schedule:

Where to eat in Vnukovo

Vnukovo is actually located in the city, so it’s easy to find shops and inexpensive cafes near the airport. During the day, have a tasty meal in Vnukovo by going to the budget cafe at the hotel (Tsentralnaya 2 - 1A) or in the canteen nearby (1 Reisovaya 4A). Another canteen is hidden between terminals B and D (from B we follow the corridor then up the stairs). At late times, you will have to go further into the city to grocery stores or Fast Food kiosks.

There are a lot of establishments at the airport, the most popular: the Mu-Mu canteen chain, Air Buffet, Just grill bar, Kroshka Potato, Orient Express. After passing security, you can sit at Burger King, Shokoladnitsa, Grenkipub beer establishment and Mu-mu (domestic airlines). In the departure area for international flights there are Shokoladnitsa, Burger King, Heineken bar, Zyu cafe and Mu-Mu. The cheapest of the airport establishments is still Mu-Mu: don’t forget to buy a drink, it comes with a free Korovka candy.

Where to charge your phone for free

To find an electrical outlet, follow the signs of the Shokoladnitsa cafe; there are accessible outlets nearby to charge your computer or phone. There is an outlet next to the toilets.
In the departure area, there are several power outlets opposite gate 88A in the domestic airlines lounge. The socket is in the international part on the side of gate 1818A under the stairs in the cafe and opposite gate 2525A near the fire hydrant. On the third floor to the left of the escalator in the Mu-Mu cafe there is a convenient table with an outlet, but you’ll have to guard this place.

How to find a toilet

There are enough toilets at the airport, they are in the common part of Terminal A and are provided with signs: on the ground level on the left, on the second level a small toilet on the left and the main toilets on the right side of the second floor of the terminal. On the 3rd floor you will find toilets on the right side at the end.

In the departure area international airlines toilets opposite gates 2121A, 2323A and 2525A (the changing room is located right there). In the domestic sterile area, toilets are located opposite gates 1111A, 1212A and 1414A.

What to do with a child in Vnukovo

Near the toilets in the common and free areas there are changing rooms where you can change your baby's clothes. They are marked with signs and are easy to find. At the airport, there is a children's room on the 2nd floor of Terminal A on the left. For those departing, its services are free; a child under 7 years of age will be allowed in with an accompanying adult for a maximum of 6 hours. The room is filled with toys, there are playgrounds and a slide, you can read, draw, watch cartoons. For very young passengers there is an area with a crib, changing table and high chair.

In the domestic airline waiting room after the shops there is a paid children's area with toys and cartoons, prices start from 300 rubles, but here you can leave your child under supervision or watch him while sitting in the waiting chair.
Go up to level 2 of Terminal D and you will find the mother and child room. It works around the clock and is free. Pregnant women also use its services. Children under 7 with one adult will have a great time in the play area, although you must first get a certificate from the first-aid post (2nd floor, terminal A). You are not allowed to bring your luggage here, leave your bags in the storage room (Terminal A, ground floor)
