I read the reviews and understand that it’s a shame for this hotel, they speak so poorly of him. It's not like that at all, or we're just very lucky. I'll start from the very beginning.
We've arrived. No delays, on time. What's on airplanes North wind Now they don’t feed me - it’s been known for a long time, they write about it everywhere. Now paid for flights lasting less than 5 hours. But there are still tourists who raise a scandal and noise on board when they bring food to someone, but they, the poor, hungry ones, are not given it, but should have it for free, and on a golden platter, and with a bow and an apology. But it’s pointless to describe all the delights of the flight; the hotel has nothing to do with it. The main thing is that everything is strictly on schedule.
Guides will meet you at the exit from the airport. Not like usual, there is one counter where you just need to name the hotel, and the guide puts the number of people next to the name. No vouchers, no names, just numbers to fill the bus. On the bus itself they don’t count, they don’t check, they got on and drove off as soon as there were no more seats. Pegasus guide Alexander.... a peculiar way of guiding tourists, I don’t want to say bad, but the impressions are terrible, at least from his manners. It's a twenty-minute drive, the whole bus goes to one hotel, there are no concessions upon check-in for those with children, everything is first come, first serve (although, of course, they tried to be indignant). We arrived in the evening, so we were checked in right away. First, scan your luggage on the right in a separate house, then go to the reception for check-in. We were lucky, while everyone was hesitating and jostling, we quickly went to the right place (the hotel employee immediately called us there when getting off the bus), and we were among the first to check in. The room was simply amazing, large, like everything else in this hotel, clean, everything worked, overlooking the garden and the sea, beautiful. They didn't pay anything, no one asked. They immediately gave us two keys, cards for towels and for alcohol. The air conditioner sometimes took on a life of its own, but we quickly figured out how to play with it. I froze - that's what I need).
In general, we settled down and went to dinner. The food is great, fish, chicken, delicious. But it’s really the same thing every day, so by the end of the holiday (honestly, honestly, we’re not picky, at all, really) I sat down at the table with an empty plate and thought... what can I even eat so that didn't turn back. I got greedy, in general, I think so.
ATTENTION, everything is very slippery! Everything is constantly scrubbed, washed, rubbed, polished. I almost fell right when I entered the restaurant; it could have ended very sadly. At the entrance, animators greet guests, talk about the program for the evening, then, dressed in funny costumes, gather the children for a mini-disco and take them away. I don’t know, maybe someone will disagree, but in our opinion (this is the first time we’ve seen this) - this is ideal! All children are taken away from drinking and smoking tourists and dance with them separately and have fun. And they don’t irritate childless people with running around and children’s songs, and people don’t trip over anyone, and happy children run around on clean grass... It seems wonderful. If I understood everything correctly, because I never saw a children’s disco on the terrace in the evening, but they definitely gathered children.
So, evening, terrace, wonderful view, tables, bar, music... just paradise. animators sit down with the guests, get to know each other, tell them what they know and can do. Great girls, diligent, cheerful. Every evening they dance belly dance, beautiful. Sometimes they dilute it with different shows. I was pleased with the Latina - the Argentine guys are simply gorgeous! I danced myself once, so it was a joy to the eye, they were so good! If you can't get enough of the show, go to the beach and dance in the glass bar. By the way, at least while there are no locals (from Thursday to Saturday), you don’t have to buy anything at the glass bar, you can just dance to your heart’s content.
Alcohol and drinks. A sore subject that hits the Russian ego. Maybe such AL is offensive and humiliating for someone. Don't know. But there was even too much vodka, whiskey and beer. Yes, for lunch and dinner there is a card, one drink each. So what? Grab your glass with your meal and head up to the terrace to the bar and drink until it's pouring (until 11pm). We have already spent the card only on the principle that if you have it, you should take it, although the alcohol has already stopped you, after all, you drink on the beach all day long))). Bar on the beach - the queues are small; those who need water can ask without queuing, sometimes lean over the bar and simply take it with the bartender's permission. The guys do the right job - politely, with a smile, and tolerate Russian rudeness and nagging. If you really press it, you can even play your own music in the bar (although the musical taste of some tourists was annoying; Arabic tunes would be better). And by the way, Europeans with green bracelets were also expelled from our bar on the beach - their bar is there by the pools, so go there. And their queues there were so great, longer than ours. So I see absolutely no problems. Canned beer, light, undiluted. The whiskey and apple juice was a hit. The juices are concentrated, but they don’t look like yuppies, they are tasty, no worse than our packaged ones. Without soda we didn’t suffer at all, why do we need it at all, it’s the same everywhere.
SEA. GORGEOUS SEA. Corals, fish, hedgehogs, we even saw a lionfish - a beauty. Poorer than Egypt, but there is something to see, especially if you go to public beaches. But it is very difficult to find entry into the sea there. The beach is white and beautiful. How good it is there. BUT! Slippers - there are a lot of hedgehogs, you can see the bottom very well, but anything can happen.
The cleaning of the rooms was good, everything was always replenished and changed. The main manager came twice and was personally interested in the quality, whether we were happy with everything, whether we had enough of everything. It was a pleasure.
I celebrated my birthday there, they brought cake to my room and decorated it beautifully, thank you!
Yes, they speak English. We know the language, there were no problems with the word at all. For those who don't know, it might be more complicated.
There was a problem with the safe, it was resolved in 5 minutes, the technician came to the room before we got up from the reception.
The territory is large, you need to walk a lot. Those who need help with their luggage, there are signs and signs everywhere, but sometimes you can still get lost. Everything is very green and beautiful - an oasis. We swam only in the “panoramic” pool, which seemed the cleanest and least crowded. By the weekend the locals had swooped in and there was nowhere to go. There are not sun loungers at the pools, but just sofas. It looks great, but they are made of leather and get very hot in the heat of plus 40.
We were not injured at sea. But alas, there was an injury of a different nature. I ran to the reception, and there they were resolving issues with the locals. Here I was an empty place, they crowded me, they didn’t pay attention to the fact that I was standing there at all. In general, if there is something EMERGENCY, shout, wave your arms, demand!!! otherwise you won't wait. In general, until the rescuer carried my companion into the reception practically in his arms, no one moved. Here again “thank you” to the guide. When asking for help - condescension, a favor. How could he give us all the information, why bother him, handle it yourself, call wherever you need to, I told you everything. No, of course he called the doctor, although thanks for that, really thanks, there was no time at all to look for the number. But if you are so annoyed by tourists who panic and get lost in difficult situations, why are you sitting there? In general, when a guide dictates some information at a meeting, write it down, otherwise it will be difficult to achieve anything later, at least some help.
I write a lot, maybe too much. Finally, upon check-out at 12, the bracelets are removed. But, if one person gives the number, the second one keeps the bracelet. This is true, by the way, this has already been written about. Our flight was moved up a little, but no big deal, there was an hour difference.
We went on excursions to Petra with a private taxi driver, four of us for $100 per person. It’s very convenient, we stopped everywhere, there were such panoramas.
We returned recently, still full of impressions - pleasant ones, so if you have questions, ask.
The hotel is wonderful, we are really delighted with everything - from the territory, rooms, service, beach, sea, animation. I really want there to be less quibbles about it, because it’s so beautiful and good there. We'd go back.
