On August 24, a theatrical musical performance based on the play by Henrik Ibsen to the music of Edvard Grieg “Peer Gynt” will take place on the open area of the Order Castle Schaaken, accompanied by the Kaliningrad Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Honored Artist of Russia Arkady Feldman.
Schaaken Castle is one of the historical architectural landmarks Kaliningrad region not far from the Curonian Lagoon, an order castle, founded on the site of a Prussian fortress around 1270. The picturesque ruins of the castle have been welcoming guests since 2010, recreating the Middle Ages.
