You can not only walk or gondolas. The city also has public transport - unusual, but convenient. We're talking about vaporetto passenger ships, plying along the canals of Venice and between the islands of the Venetian archipelago. Let's try to understand the features of this type of transport in order to use it efficiently and without overpaying.

Essentially, a vaporetto is the same bus or tram, only it moves on water. The operating principles are standard: several routes with constant stops, water trams run on a schedule, passengers are charged a fare, and free riders are fined. In Russian, vaporetto means “steamboat” (from vapore – “steam”), but modern ships have diesel engines. The team is a captain and a sailor, the latter announces stops, moors the ship, directs passengers to the exit, and monitors the safety of boarding and disembarking.

The convenience of the vaporetto lies not only in the ability to move around the city canals and the entire archipelago. The main thing is that the berths are located on both sides of the canal, not always connected by bridges, and the ships serve as ferries, transporting people from one bank to the other.

The first vaporetto appeared in Venice in 1881 and soon gained great popularity. Over time, the number of ships increased to several dozen. Today for functioning transport network Vaporetto is “responsible” by ACTV (Azienda Consorzio Trasporti Venezia). From time to time, she has to face opposition - from the very beginning they perceived the new type of transport as a threat to their income, and from time to time they organize strikes and accuse the vaporetto of polluting water and air and causing dangerous situations: ships and boats raise waves when moving. Sometimes the protest actions of gondoliers are successful: for example, some time ago the speed of the vaporetto was legally limited to 8 km/h.

Moorings

All the piers where the vaporetto stops look the same: painted White color landing stage booth with bright orange stripes.

The large black inscription is the name of the stop. Passengers enter and exit via two separate bridges. There are several zones inside the landing stage:

  1. In one, passengers await the arrival of the ship;
  2. The second is used for disembarking passengers;
  3. Through the third, boarding takes place: access there is prohibited if the ship is not at the berth, when it is moored, when passengers are disembarking.

There is a duty officer at each berth who will answer your questions.

Be careful when choosing the direction of movement: on large berths, ships moving in different directions are moored in different places, on small berths - in one place. Information signs will help you understand where you need to go.

Types of vessels

ACTV uses three types of vessels to transport passengers.

  1. The vaporetto itself is a squat vessel with a flat roof and deck; accommodates an average of 230 people. They travel mainly along the Grand Canal and the Cannaregio Canal. Vaporetto differ in height (the bridges on some canals are very low), but are generally similar: an enclosed salon, an open vestibule with a roof, and several seats at the bow and stern.
  2. Motoscafos are smaller in size (accommodating up to 160 people), but they have better seaworthiness, so these vessels serve routes along big water around Venice. They also go to the island of Murano and between small islands where passenger traffic is low. Motoscafos are more like large boats, completely enclosed.
  3. Motonavi, as the name suggests, are designed for crossing by sea, not through narrow canals. They are similar to vaporetto, but much larger and more spacious (up to 600 passengers). Such ships go to the distant islands of the Lagoon, for example, to the island of Burano. Some motonavi have a high pilothouse and two decks.

Routes

In total, more than 25 waterbus routes pass through Venice and the islands. Many of them are circular. There are express routes, one night route, and in 2012 a review appeared a tourist route; You can start moving along it every 30 minutes.

A standard ticket for one trip will cost 7.5 euros. It is valid for all routes (except 16, 19 and Alilaguna) for 75 minutes after activation (passage). During this period, you can make transfers, return back, etc.

If your plans are to stay in Venice longer, it is better to immediately purchase so-called tourist tickets transport cards, in other words, passes for several days. Then staying on the islands and moving around them will cost much less. The card can be purchased for 1, 2, 3 days or a week; it costs 20, 30, 40 and 60 euros respectively and includes travel not only on water trams, but also on regular buses.

  • Important: The daily ticket is valid for exactly 24 hours from the moment it is first composted. For example, you punched your ticket on September 10 at 09:00, which means you can use vaporetto until 9 am on September 11 without restrictions.

The most attractively priced option is a 3-day ticket for 28 euros, but it is only available to children and youth from 6 to 29 years old. A prerequisite for purchasing such a ticket is having a Rolling Venice card. It, in turn, costs 6 euros, but additional discounts are available for it in shopping centers and museums of Venice.

Children under 6 years old use vaporetto for free. Travel is also free for disabled people using wheelchairs and accompanying persons. For the stroller itself you will have to pay 1.5 euros.

Important: the above is true for all routes except 16, 19 and Alilaguna. There is a boat service to and from the latter. Route 16 directly connects Fusina (Fusina, camping in, on the mainland of Venice) and the pier of the Zattere promenade (Fondamenta delle Zattere), along route 19 ships go from San Marco to the island of Chioggia.

  • We recommend reading:

How and where to buy

Tickets are sold at the piers, in vending machines and ACTV ticket offices, as well as in tobacco and newsagents. A ticket can also be purchased on board (including if there is no ticket office or machine at the pier) - but only one-time, for one trip. In most cases, you can pay not only in cash, but also by credit card.

  • To save time, we advise you to plan your stay in Venice and book your ticket in advance online.

After booking, you will be sent a QR and PNR code immediately upon arrival at the station Santa Maria Lucia, you don’t go to the queue at the ticket office, but to the machine on the pier, here’s a dot on the map. There you enter your code and receive a ticket. The ticket can be activated any day. Luggage is included in the price.

Children under 6 years old travel free of charge.

For example, you bought a 48-hour ticket in advance and activated it on October 10 at 11:00 - it will be valid until October 12 at 10:59. The overpayment for such a booking and saving time is only 3 euros.

By the way, the residents of Venice themselves pay much less for using the river trams, but you can purchase tickets at discounted prices only by presenting the appropriate document.

It is necessary to purchase tickets. Their presence is checked regularly, the fines are very high: you will have to pay not only travel, but also an administrative penalty in the amount of 60 euros. It is allowed to carry a folded baby stroller, one piece of luggage of standard dimensions (no more than 150 cm in total dimensions), as well as hand luggage in the amount of two items (no longer than 120 cm). Anything above is paid additionally.

The purchased ticket must be activated by touching it to the validator and holding it until the beep sounds. This must be done at each berth; If you do not activate your ticket upon boarding, you may be fined. You must keep your ticket until the end of your trip. There is no need to present the ticket to the sailor upon entering the ship.

Boarding is carried out only after all passengers have disembarked; Until this moment, access to the landing zone is strictly prohibited. You must strictly follow the sailor's instructions. For passengers with limited mobility, special retractable platforms are provided to help them get on board.

The best viewing positions are at the bow or stern. There are few of them, so it is better to take the water bus at the original stops, so you will have a better chance of getting the desired seat. Don’t forget that on a vaporetto, only the seats in the cabin are completely protected from wind and rain. If you are sitting on open places, only the roof protects you from bad weather, and not always.

Not all vaporetto stations have toilets; They can be equipped on ships that sail long routes.

Vaporetto is not a tourist water bus, but an ordinary type public transport, so during peak hours it is filled to its maximum with seated and standing passengers. Keep this in mind and prepare to leave in advance so as not to miss the required stop.

Smoking is prohibited not only on the vaporetto, but also on the landing stage.

Carefully monitor what is happening around you, do not keep valuables and money in sight and in easily accessible places: in Venice, as in any popular tourist city there are pickpockets.

An unforgettable boat trip along the islands of the Venetian lagoon with a visit to the famous Murano, Burano, Torcello will allow you to see the real Venice!

Duration

Possible with children

Have you ever dreamed of taking the helm of a ship? If you want, we will teach you the rules of the “road” of the Venetian lagoon, it is not at all difficult, and you yourself can become the captain and navigator of our ship.

Program

Murano Island famous for being home to countless glass workshops that are engaged in the production of Venetian glass. You and I will witness how all these beautiful Murano glass products are born - we will visit one of the factories, where the maestro will demonstrate his skills and tell a few interesting facts about the technology of making objects from this glass. After that, we’ll go shopping in search of something unusual and interesting, made of real Murano glass.

Burano Island- This small island, which will literally take you to a fabulous scenery and give you the opportunity to feel all the riot of colors. The houses on this island are famous for their colors - it seems that you are in a toy world, and all the houses around are just decorations. I will introduce you to some stories that explain the origin of the colors of these houses, and also tell you why this island is also famous for its lace.

Torcello Island- it is possible that this is not the most striking representative of the islands of the Venetian lagoon, it does not have any special features, nothing unusual is produced on it, but its importance for Venice cannot be overestimated, this is where the history of our city began. Once upon a time, life was in full swing on this island, but now the official population is only 10 people. We will look here briefly to see with our own eyes the place where the “Venetian civilization” originates and what inspired Ernest Hemingway when he wrote his book “Across the River in the Shade of the Trees” here.

If you want, you can expand the excursion program and spend the whole day at sea. After the “classic” excursion program through the islands we will be ready for free sailing on the Venetian lagoon, I propose to visit places where you can only get to by private boat and just enjoy the beauty of the Venetian lagoon:

Island of San Francesco del Deserto(San Francesco del Deserto) - a small island monastery (4,000 cypress trees and less than a dozen monks) was St. Francis's first stop in Europe on his way back from the Holy Land in 1220, and it was here that he spoke to the birds. The monks will show us the chapel, the cloister and the tomb in which St. Francis often lay to acquire the habit, and you will enjoy the smell of flowers, peace and the singing of birds for yourself.

Poveglia Island- one of the most mysterious and, at the same time, attractive islands of the Venetian lagoon. If you start asking Venetians about this place, many of them will prefer to talk about something else, pretending that they don’t know anything interesting about this island. The story that happened here is reminiscent of the plot from the famous film “ Cursed Island"with Leonardo DiCaprio. On the island in the 20th century there was a secret mental hospital in which experiments were carried out on patients, but it all ended in an accident under mysterious circumstances, after which the institution was closed. This is just the end of the story of this island. They say that the bell on the tower has been gone for a long time, but at night you can still sometimes hear its ringing.

This boat is unfortunately not allowed to enter the small and narrow canals of Old Venice.

Organizational details

Julia → The perfect view of Venice: city and lagoon islands by boat July 31, 2019

Venice, a city that takes your breath away!!! A boat excursion is the best end of the evening in this beautiful city! Maxim is an excellent guide! Friendly, smiling, open! We saw Venice from a different perspective, visited the islands, had a fun and useful time! Thank you, Maxim! I definitely recommend the tour!!! Let's come to Venice and again go with the breeze on a boat, to the music and a glass of Prosecco!

We highly recommend a tour of Venice with Maxim, informative and interesting. In addition, Maxim will recommend you really good and tasty restaurants and take great photos with the background best views, and will also give recommendations on your further route around the city. Thank you very much to our guide and Tripster, we had a great day in Venice!

I really liked the unusual presentation of the excursion material. A very versatile guide, ready to switch “on the fly” to any other topic during the excursion. For example, the gastronomy of Venice, architecture, the way of life of the Venetians and much more. It is impressive that Maxim, after completing the excursion, continues to communicate with the client, always answering questions and helping with advice.

On the first day of our stay in Venice we went on an excursion with guide Maxim. Maxim introduced us to the city and showed us beautiful viewpoints. I liked the guide’s energy, his enthusiasm and desire to make the excursion as comfortable as possible for all participants. Thank you! We had a great time and got our bearings a bit around the city.

Milan → Mystical Venice: legends and ghosts of the Dorsoduro district September 25, 2018

It was our first time in Venice, but we decided to book not a sightseeing tour, but a walk with Maxim to places not favored by tourists. And we didn’t regret it - we saw the beautiful embankment of the Giudecca Canal, empty cozy squares where children play football, the famous galateria “Niko’s”, where you should definitely try ice cream... What’s nice is that Maxim sent us a list of cafes and restaurants where you can have a really tasty snack and drink a cocktail. Well, of course interesting story about the Dorsoduro area.

The extravaganza of the Venice Carnival still did not leave you indifferent, and you finally decided to visit this city slowly sinking under water? Wonderful! Excursions in Venice in Russian are always relevant, fresh and interesting. However, they had no chance to be different, because we are talking about the city that captivated Brodsky, Chekhov and Blok! And also tens of millions of people who different times ended up here. What is freedom-loving Venice ready to offer you?

If you are looking for a rich summary of facts from the “Venice in 10 streets and faces” series, this excursion is definitely not for you. This kind of Venice certainly won’t be able to come to life in your mind, but that’s why it’s worth going to this place. magical city. You can expect both a walk along unfamiliar streets and a visit to popular attractions, but not during rush hour. A subtle combination of facts, impressions, legends, musical inserts.

Venice is the best interactive stage in the universe. As you explore the city, you will learn why the mysterious Ca Dario palace was never purchased, what made Verdi consider his La Traviata a complete fiasco, who is Saint Mark, and what is meant by the oxymoron “poor rich”? All this can be learned in 2.5 hours. The cost is €150 (1-3 people).

This excursion is for sightseeing purposes. A minimum of dates – a pure kaleidoscope of exciting and vibrant urban legends. And the dive promises to be deep - you will have to leave the image of cheerful Venice and find yourself in the thick of events of a gloomy fairy tale with a killer palace, a carnival of masks and stories about the fatally beautiful Countess Tarnovskaya.

Before you will unfold Dorsudoro, which has lived up to its reputation as the most bohemian quarter of the city for more than a century, and the Doge's Palace, you will glimpse the Church of della Salute in its baroque perfection and the Grand Canal, through which the wooden bridge Academy. All stories ancient city on the water and not to mention, especially during the 2.5 hours that the excursion will last. But this will be enough to feel the hypnotic charm of the city. The cost is €155 (1-10 people).

Venice without a mask

The association with the Venetian carnival of masks is hackneyed, but still relevant. What will this excursion offer you? A private walk along non-tourist trails, devoid of demonstrative gloss. Venice is not only a cold, ideally cut stone, it is also its inhabitants – funny and deeply sad, scary and mysterious. Their stories are hidden behind tightly closed shutters, street altars, marble bas-reliefs and brick columns.

The program is planned to be quite intense: from former monastery to the tiny church of San Giorgio, which is a small repository of great Venetian painting. Next up is Piazza San Marco. You will be able to find out where the devil once jumped out from, and why all the slabs of the Madonna's courtyard are gray, and one is red. The walk will take 4 hours. It will cost € 150 (1-4 people).

Panoramic view of Venice: from B to Z

This is the best three-hour classic city tour you can find - a thrilling stroll through the city without having to look around nervously trying to figure out how much trust you can place in a map. However, no one promises that the map will help - the streets are so old and narrow that the satellite signal simply does not reach here.

The program includes a standard overview of attractions: the Doge's Palace, the Accademia Bridge, the Grand Canal, the notorious Florian cafe, the Embankment of the Incurables, especially vividly described by Brodsky, San Marco Cathedral and others iconic places. During the walk, you will have the opportunity to find out what the depth of the canals is, why the Venetians are always extremely careful when passing by two columns at the Doge's Palace, but never between them, who is perhaps the only lucky person who managed to leave the Venetian prison without losing any limbs etc.

There will also be a “sweet” ending - with delicious coffee and real Venetian ice cream. Such a walk around the city will cost you 200 € (1-4 people).

Welcome to Venice

What the city breathes, what traditions it upholds, what the main historical milestones of its development are, you can learn about all this during the excursion. You can truly feel the city only by learning non-trivial details that can help you come closer to understanding the spirit of the city. The guide's expected story about the founding of a republic on water, and why Venice (despite its wealth and strategic importance) was never attacked from outside or inside, will be filled with texture and color as you immerse yourself in the leisurely narrative created atmosphere.

City symbols, the courtesan quarter, holy images on the facades of houses - they all become characters in history. At the end of this three-hour tour, the guide will be happy to share with you information about where you can try authentic Venetian cuisine at prices not for tourists, but for local residents, which museums and galleries you should definitely visit, and also give useful tips on moving around the city. The cost is €180 (1-10 people).

Mystical Venice: legends and ghosts of the Dorsoduro district

Dorsoduro can be translated as “hard spine.” This is one of six historical districts Venice, which occupies the southern tip of the city. And it is with him, or rather with his “shadow” side, that the excursion promises to introduce you. Don't worry, you won't run into the Italian mafia... Most likely. You have to find the answer to a number of rather curious questions. Which of the city’s palaces is the “cheapest”, and why did it never have an owner?

Is there a recipe for immortality, and where to look for it? (Note: not in Prague, as you will see for yourself) The Grand Canal and its “peace-loving” inhabitants - why is it not worth swimming in it without a gondola? But empty words are not enough, right? Why not go on a ghost hunt, especially since the hunt is going to be hot - after all, you are in one of the oldest cities in Europe! And here the most insidious intriguers of history will always be alive. This whole mystical adventure will take no more than two hours and will cost € 138 (1-4 people).

Venice and the islands of the Venetian lagoon

This excursion will allow you to look at Venice from a different perspective. It brings up a fairly extensive historical and cultural layer: the Fourth Crusade, the wars with the Turks and Genoa, Venetian Gothic, medieval Venice, the red light district, and much more. Did you know what the local “basements” look like, and what does it have to do with the blond beauties who had to make real sacrifices for the sake of their scorched locks? Does the name “shame run” mean anything to you? If you suddenly have the desire to write a denunciation, into which of the lion’s mouths will you need to deliver this bold paper?

You will learn about all this during the excursion, which can become even more complete if you wish to visit the islands of the Venetian lagoon: San Michele (the island of the dead and also the most luxurious Venetian cemetery), Burano (famous for its lacemakers and fishermen who literally live in a living fairy tale), Torcello (the cradle of Italian civilization with beautiful Byzantine frescoes and ancient temples) and others. Cost € 180 (1-6 people).

Crafts of Venice

As the name suggests, the tour focuses on visits to artisan workshops and antique boutiques. Lace, mirrors, glass - all this is usually associated with the city of masks and gondolas. And behind the facade of these luxury items are centuries of careful storage and cultivation of traditions and technologies. Reticella, murrina, filigree - these glass making techniques are still preserved by Italian craftsmen. And local lace!

Craftswomen from the island of Burano still work today on yarn, and then on stitching, creating things using the same technique as the craftsmen of the Middle Ages. But the horizon of the upcoming immersion into the world of traditional crafts is not limited to this - masks made of papier-mâché, decorated with gilding, wood carving and painting, making ships of all shapes and sizes - get ready for an intense eight-hour tour! Cost € 180 (1-4 people).

In order to hear the real voice of the city, you need to remove the crowd of noisy tourists and forget about such a concept as “vanity”. It is almost impossible to achieve this during the daytime, and therefore warm nights remain, filled with the sound of locked shutters, the splash of waves and the echo of footsteps on stone bridges. Finding yourself in Venice like this, you can easily imagine Vivaldi or Casanova coming around the corner. The excursion will consist of two parts - a walking tour along the central streets and a trip by water.

The second part is planned to be more intense, because it will include more architectural and historical monuments, for example, the house of Desdemona, the door in which Tsar Paul I himself stayed during his mysterious visit to Venice, the Barefoot Bridge and many others. The walk will take approximately 2 hours and cost €168 (1-8 people).

Mysterious Doge's Palace

The Doge's Palace is rightfully considered one of the most enchanting architectural ensembles Venice, and it is definitely worth setting aside time to visit. To get to the palace, you need to cross the Bridge of Sighs. This is where this excursion begins. Gradually, you will go further and further into the intricacies of the halls where behind-the-scenes games took place for centuries.

A special point is the acquaintance with Italian painting, mainly of the 16th century, which is represented here in significant quantities. During an hour and a half walk through the palace, you will also see secret rooms: a torture chamber and a prison. The tour usually takes place in the afternoon, as the crowd of tourists generally thins out at this time. The cost is €125 (1-4 people).

The unique spirit of the Republic

Venice is a highly cosmopolitan city. Almost from its very foundation there was a place (free and paid) for representatives of all races and religious denominations. A real carnival of masks! And the extravaganza of papier-mâché faces in sparkles and bright colors– nothing more than a caricature of the real spirit of the city, multifaceted and contradictory.

During a two-hour walk you will be able to get to know Venice during the time of Napoleon - and then Venice was at its peak! Particular attention will be paid National Library, where today the first printed book of Venice is kept, as well as the ancient manuscripts of the Iliad. The cost is €120 (1-6 people).

Walking tour of Venice at 15:15

You have to walk over 5 km. You will see both significant historical objects and typical narrow streets. The path will run from the Bridge of Barefoot to the Bridge of Sighs. They received such names not by chance. The Barefoot Bridge is located next to the train station and is simply unmissable. According to legend, once upon a time there lived poor people in this area who were unable to buy shoes for themselves.

The Bridge of Sighs is built of white marble. Previously, convicts were carried along it, and it was from here that they could see Venice for the last time. Also on the program is the Pantheon, the school of St. John the Evangelist, ancient protective structures and temples. Tourists will see how the nobles lived, learn where and how the famous masks for carnivals are made, visit the red light district, admire the Grand Canal, get acquainted with the life of local students and have a bird's eye view of the city.

The guide will also tell you about the sights that you can explore on your own. Such a walking tour, during which you will begin to find your way around the city, will be the first step towards getting to know the city in more detail. Price – 20 euros, children under 12 years old – free.

Serenade gondola ride along the canals of Venice

You can’t visit Venice without sailing through its canals to the songs of a gondolier. The walk lasts about 40 minutes. It is “from the water” that you can see the city from the most unusual and beautiful angle. The majestic palaces and houses in which the Venetians lived for many centuries, the arches of bridges, the ringing of bells heard from under the domes of churches - all this will leave an indelible impression.

The narrow gondola can accommodate up to 6 people. In addition to small canals, you can explore the Grand Canal. And hear what a real Italian serenade is. The price of the trip is 52 euros per person.

Wine and Venice (Bacari Group Walking Tour)

Together with an experienced guide, you will visit those bars in Venice where locals go, and where there are almost no tourists. According to the Venetians, the best wine in the city should belong to them, which is why you won’t find these bars in tourist brochures. A variety of light snacks are served here along with wine; you can sit and talk with other visitors to the bar and see colorful characters. The program includes visits to several such establishments.

It is Venice that is the world supplier of Soave wine, made from grapes that grow in the region of the same name. Venetians and city guests enjoy red wine Valpolicella, rather strong Superiore, and dry Amarone della Valpolicella. All wines have warm, velvety notes and an indescribable aroma. It's worth purchasing several bottles to treat your friends at home. It is also recommended to try young red wine Bardolino, white Gambellara and Lessini Durello. And the most famous is the dessert wine Torcolato, which has won dozens of awards.

Only persons over 18 years of age are allowed. Ticket price – 50 euros – includes guide services. Alcoholic drinks and snacks will need to be paid separately. On average, a glass of wine costs from 0.8 to 3 euros, snacks - up to 5 euros. Starts daily at 18.30.

Group excursion to Murano

There is hardly a person who has not heard about the famous Murano glass. This is his homeland, and many legends were associated with the life of glassblowers in former times. It was believed that on this island the police had no right to arrest anyone. But if the glass blower decided to change his place of residence, he could be killed as a criminal. And Murano glass supposedly had a magical property - it was enough to drop poison into it - cracks began to appear in the glass.

An invaluable asset for Venice, where many people lived who liked to get rid of enemies with the help of poisonous substances. Tourists will get acquainted with the history of the island and see how glass is produced. You can go on an excursion on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays, the ticket price is 40 euros, you will additionally have to pay for a vaporetto that will take you to the island.

Group excursion to San Giorgio Maggiore

Includes both water and walking trips. Tourists will visit the island where people have lived since the times of Ancient Rome. You will be given the opportunity to learn the history of the island and see its sights with your own eyes. It is here, in the monastery, that the work of the great Tintoretto is kept " last supper" And from the bell tower there is a wonderful view. The tour takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The ticket costs 30 euros. In addition, you will need to pay for the vaporetto fare - 10 euros there and back.

The ascent to the bell tower is also paid - 6 euros for adults and 4 euros for children. This excursion is not just a gondola ride - it is dedicated to a small boat, a great worker. Its history is measured in centuries. The gondola consists of several hundred parts, carved from various types of wood. It is thanks to the gondola that tourists have the opportunity to explore the old part of Venice. Previously, the boat was the main means of transportation around the city. Today, riding a gondola in itself is a great pleasure for tourists.

There are very narrow canals - here the houses almost converge with each other. And then you will sail past the luxurious Venetian palaces where the nobility lived. The ticket costs 35 euros, you can go any day of the week.

Carnival Venice

Venice during Carnival is something special. It begins to seem to guests of the city that time has turned back, and they have been transported several centuries ago. Every year people from all over the world come to the carnival. The celebration lasts for two whole weeks. The ancient city is decorated, everyone wears masks, theatrical performances take place here and there, sounds live music, artists perform.

And on the streets and on the banks of the canals, life itself plays out performances. A unique spectacle! At this time, artisans also gather in Venice, they rush to offer tourists their works, each of which is unique. And, of course, you won’t leave here without a marvelous mask made by Venice. Cost 127 euros. You will visit St. Mark's Square, visit the maritime customs, the workshop where masks are made, the Church of St. Mary, the German Inn.

Venice through the eyes of the Venetians

You have the opportunity to look at Venice through the eyes of the inhabitants of this city. The route is selected individually and depends on what tourists want to see for themselves. But in any case, at the end of the tour the guide will invite you to go to the terrace, which offers stunning views of the Grand Canal. If you wish, you can visit bars, shops, shops of local craftsmen with handmade souvenirs. The program includes visiting numerous churches and riding a gondola. The guide will tell you where Venetians themselves most often go to shop and have fun. You will learn many interesting facts regarding lifestyle local population. Ticket price: 127 euros.

Excursion to the Doge's Palace

Everyone who comes to Venice strives to visit this palace. It seems to embody the entire history of the city. The luxurious and majestic palace is surrounded by numerous legends and traditions.
