Muscovites can feel the festive atmosphere in transport now. Thus, metro stations, train cars, platforms and lobbies were decorated with thousands of New Year's posters and stickers with congratulations.

As for city services on New Year's holidays on ground public transport, most buses, trolleybuses, trams and blue minibuses will carry Muscovites until 3.30 am. On Friday, December 29, two interregional “express” trains will depart from Moscow to Kaluga (departure at 17.15) and Tula (departure at 18.41). On Saturday and Sunday, December 30 and 31, an “express” will depart from the Kazansky railway station at 9.10 to the Ryazan-2 station.

On New Year's Eve, from December 31 to January 1, two additional night trains will run between Moscow and the stopping point Novoperedelkino(at 1.00 to Moscow and in the opposite direction at 2.40). At the same time, flat parking lots with barriers will continue to operate at current rates. There are about 80 of them, they work around the clock, including weekends and holidays.
