Idea

Europa-Park, located in Baden-Württemberg in southwestern Germany, is considered one of the most popular entertainment complexes in the Old World. On 65 hectares there are 16 thematic zones dedicated to different countries Europe (including Russia). Each of them maintains a balance between attractions and an unobtrusive presentation of the culture and history of a particular country. The park is so large that we recommend devoting at least two to three days to it. Attractions and entertainment In the “Russia” themed area, one of the main attractions is the Euro-Mir slide, which reaches a speed of 80 km/h while moving. The Lada Autodrom attraction sends greetings to the domestic automotive industry, and the Mir Space Station exhibition pays tribute to our space explorers. In addition, here you can stroll through the Russian village and get acquainted with traditional crafts. Other thematic platforms are structured on approximately the same principle. Extreme lovers should take a look at “Iceland”, where four loops will await them on the Blue fire Megacoaster powered by Gazprom slide, and all this “fun” at a speed of 100 km/h! There is plenty of extreme entertainment in “Greece” too. Once you've mastered the steep hills, head to Taverna Mikonos and try Greek delicacies - moussaka and village salad.

Europa-Park is preparing high-profile premieres this summer. Among them is the grand attraction “Arthur - at the Minimoys Kingdom” with a 10-meter free-fall tower, steep slides and the house of Selenia, the Minimoy princess, which little guests can explore. The 80 m2 playground in the “Austria” zone promises to be a real hit for kids.

Several other areas of Legoland also concentrate all kinds of entertainment - from pirate battles to a pilot school and stuffed with attractions “ Knight's castle”.

The new Ghost attraction promises to be a hit this summer. Hold your breath - you are heading into a house full of ghosts and monsters! An enchanted mirror labyrinth and a meeting with a mad scientist awaits you. However, as with all attractions, it’s not so much scary as it is fun. Wow!

Europa-Park is considered the largest amusement park in Germany. Everyone works there in the summer extreme rides and I can’t even count how many times I’ve been there :)) But in winter, not all the attractions are available, but for that the park truly turns into winter's tale. There is a festive Christmas market, which attracts with the pleasant aroma of mulled wine and roasted almonds. There are numerous winter attractions, there are trees with Christmas decorations everywhere, and in the evening it all turns into an unusual beauty. I filmed a little there and under the cut I suggest you see what came out of it :))

01. We buy an entrance ticket and enter the park, where the Christmas market immediately greets visitors.

02. There weren’t many visitors before lunch on January 1st; the majority of people woke up in the late afternoon :))

03. The janitor is guarding order and cleanliness:))

04.

05. Advent calendar, all windows are already open.

06. Since Europa-Park is located in the southern part of Germany, and snow is a rare occurrence there, the Christmas trees were decorated with decorative snow to make it look at least a little like winter :))

07. Santa Clauses on an ice floe.

08.

Europa Park is divided into 13 countries: Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Greece, England, Russia, Holland, Scandinavia, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Iceland, as well as the land of fairy tales and the land of adventure.

09. Let's walk around Russia.

10. You can go into houses and watch our craftsmen at work making toys from glass and wood or watch how icons are painted.

11. GUM, where it is located railroad station. There are quite a lot of vehicles in the park, with which you can move from one part to another.

12. Big mountain gifts.

13. Giant Santa Claus. In the background there is a circus, which employs quite a lot of artists from all over the former union.

14. It’s getting close to evening and the park lights up.

15.

16. Around six o'clock in the evening the daily show "LUNA MAGICA" begins. This is a pre-Christmas spectacle on a sparkling lake, a magical winter world of fire, water and light.

17. All this action is accompanied by music, dancing and acrobatics.

18.

19. At the end of the show there was a small fireworks display.

20.

21. After the show, we continue our walk through the park. Austria.

22. The 55-meter Bellevue Ferris wheel is located in the Portuguese themed area of the park.

23. Let's ride on a wheel.

24. The views from the Ferris wheel are excellent, but it’s a little difficult to photograph anything.

25.

27.

28. Land of fairy tales.

29. There are many interesting fairy-tale houses in the land of fairy tales.

30.

31. A frog hid under a tree:))

32.

33.

34. We return again to Russia, where the skating rink was organized.

35. The main attraction of the Russian part of the park is the Euromir roller coaster. The route is laid around five mirror towers. Inside the largest of them, at the beginning of the trip there is a rise to a height of 28 meters. When moving down, the gondolas rotate around their own axis. The length of the track is 980 meters, during the trip the speed reaches 100 km/h.

36. Next to "Euroworld" there is a model space station World. Several scientific modules and a landing module are docked to the model, all of them are open for access inside

37. The attractions have already closed and the park is emptying, it’s time to take a walk and take pictures :))

38.

39. Only ghosts walk in the park :))

40.

41. The Swiss theme area of the park is home to the Matterhorn Blitz roller coaster. Maximum speed 60 km/h.

42. Every day from 5 pm on the facades of the Greek temple, animated illustrations with sound are projected.

43. Eurosat was located in the French theme area of the park. Inside the ball is a dark roller coaster. Travel speed is about 60 km/h. One of my favorite attractions :)) A ride in a ball is like a space journey, the cart flies up and down on rails, planets flash around and all this is accompanied by excellent music.

44.

45. The park closes and we go out. It’s a pity that they don’t allow you to walk there all night :)) The park is so big that it’s simply impossible to photograph everything at once. And in the summer, if you ride all the slides, one day is simply not enough...

50. From the parking lot there is an excellent view of the 73-meter-high Silver Star roller coaster, sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, located in the French part of the park. The length of the route is 1620 meters, maximum speed 127 km/h, maximum load 4.0 g.

51. Not a soul in the car park. But it’s beautiful!
